Błażej Malinowski is undoubtedly one of the most talented Polish music producers. Now living in Berlin, the artist found himself under the wings of the renowned The Gods Planet, where he managed to publish his album "Inner Tension". His production was also appreciated by Semantica Records, which resulted in the release of the track in the album in 2017. Collector of vinyl records and items with potential to generate music. In his work obsessed by the musical genres related to techno and deep minimal forms. Founder and curator of Why So Silent events which include Live electronic music and avant-garde Silent Movies. Co-founder of Fűnfte Strasse project, which includes a radio broadcast and recurring music events to promote techno and aelectronic music. SLV’s ‘Berlin. A Portrait In Music’ album on Soma receives a string of remixes from Setaoc Mass, Stanislav Tolkachev, Conforce, as well as a VIP mix from SLV himself. Hailing from Berlin, SLV is well respected for his melancholic sound design and crystalline soundscapes having released on labels like Ilario Alicante’s Virgo and Slam’s Soma. Following the release of SLV’s ambient ‘Berlin. A Portrait In Music’ album, Slam’s iconic label has invited a powerful selection of techno producers to reimagine a handful of tracks; Figure, Clergy and Work Them Records producer Setaoc Mass; Ukraine’s master of mind-bending techno, Stanislav Tolkachev; and also Delsin regular Conforce. ‘Dust’ by SK_Eleven founder Setaoc Mass brings melodic flare with enveloping synths above dark rumbling lows, before SLV’s injects some energy into ‘Talking With The Shadows’ with his own Rave Mix. incorporating moody tones and slow flowing arps with dark cavernous reverb. Krill and Mord artist Stanislav Tolkachev then offers a steady beat with euphoric chimes and vinyl hiss for his stripped back ‘First Day In The City’, preceding Dutch artist Conforce’s ‘Forest Voices’ which balances unearthly sound design and a steppy drum pattern.

“Troncami” is the second release of the new Evod Music series. 
“William Herschel” by Dj Surgeles is a sci-fi, groovy trip in which a bleep loop is fused together with high frequencies ambient pads, sinusoidal basslines and an old-school TR-909 groove. Neznan track, called “Trans Formacije” is an heavy dynamic piece, frenetic during all the variations. The producer combined perfectly 90’s style with futuristic sound raids, keeping a deep sense of tension.“Centiped” by Pulso unifies distant, spaced out melodies (and drums) with a powerful groove. It’s like a distant echo that never disappears. TWR72’s track, “Blaze”, is the strongest one of the EP. A series of small loops is perfectly intersected giving life to a polyrhythmic groove that continously renews itself. It’s a perfect tool for all types of dancefloors.

FUSE16 - Operator (Audio Assault)

The 16th edition of our FUSE series comes courtesy of Operator, the deeper, tougher alias of UK producer Rich Jones (Audio Assault, Soma, Kanzleramt, Gnosis). Rich formed his Operator alias alongside his own label Gnosis Records in 2012, forging a distinct intended theme of elemental, hypnotic, deep but tough Techno, utilising more analogue, and less 'digital', sounding techniques, in line with the sound Rich grew up with in the late 90's and early 2000's. Gnosis is Rich's passion project and arrived to widespread recognition, with heavyweight DJ's like Developer, DVS1, Shifted, Rebekah, Marcelus, James Ruskin, Drumcell, Sterac and many more, regularly playing tracks from it’s many reputable releases. 

Rich’s first Gnosis release, ‘Elements’, also caught the attention of Rotterdam legend Radial aka Jeroen Liebregts, who signed up a four tracker by Operator for his label Audio Assault, founded by himself and fellow Rotterdam stalwart Bas Mooy (MORD). This eventually led to the two getting together to begin work on their game changing collaborative live project, entitled 'Aeons At Play'. After lengthy preparation the project was finally ready at the start of this year and we were honoured to host the Aeons at Play World Premiere at our event at FOLD in February.  Amongst a stacked lineup up that included Speedy J, Delta Funktionen, VC-118A and our residents Kodah and SWARMM, the two produced a unique, energetic and entirely improvisational, live and intense sonic journey, which combined experience in electronic music production and performance of over 30 years. We felt proud to be the first to even witness this, let alone host this on our home turf in London.

Operator has also appeared on Singular Records, Blue Hour, Green Fetish and Chris Liebing's CLR imprint. He has been played across the board by Techno's finest, and has well and truly proved his worth as one of the finest in the scene himself. 

We hope you will be as captivated as we were listening to his FUSE set, recorded exclusively for Natural Selection.

Tesseract 3 is the third and final remix EP from the Corpus Hypercubus album, Tesseract 1&2 featured Appleblim, Radioactive Man, Paul Loraine, Francesco Mami and Midnight Operator (Matthew Jonson & Nathan Jonson). Inland, Clive Henry & Blind Minded step up to the plate for this EP. The original track featuring Path has all the trademark expansive soundscapes of the featured artist combined with the percussive and emotive melodic elements that permeate the album. Inland treats us to an intense techno workout full of suspense and drama, peak time techno at its finest. Finally Clive Henry & Blind Minded move things into after hours territory with a slow moving breakbeat roller with influences of Villalobos and a nod his early Peace Division work.
