Here's a stompin' track I recorded, mixed, mastered and produced for local duo 'Paper Scissors'. Think trad blues, Robert Plant style vocals with a sprinke of the White Stripes and your there. This was a lot of fun to produce, I wanted to get a big sound from just the 2 musicians (guitar & drums) which is hard with no bass. I went for a dirty sound on the kit but balanced it with a lush and organic production and mix. I really enjoy how on this track it feels big but not compressed or one dimensional. This song was recorded and produced in 1 day at STL Audio. Mixed over 1 day analog! Enjoy TKO.
