Recorded by Billy Foster at Snap Studios and mastered by James Trevascus at Bakewell Audio, the song fuses intimate verses with big anthemic choruses, charting an internal monologue of the author battling with himself and ultimately choosing life over self-destructive behaviour:

To celebrate their releases, The Lunar Keys often put their little money where their big mouths are - in support of good causes. For example, ‘Silent Ricochet’ aided the arrival of 900 trees (and counting), whilst ‘Stop This’, ‘Oxygen Type’, ‘Once’ and ‘Maniac’ raised money for the charities Nordoff Robbins, Oxygen, TheTrussellTrust and the nurses at The Royal Surrey Hospital respectively. 

The release of BLEED will continue this Lunar tradition: Inspired by recent events and, well, the song’s title, the band pledges to donate £1 for each of the first 250 airplays or reviews that BLEED receives to the Haemophilia Society. So, if you like BLEED and are good enough to play it on your show, please let us know, so that we can up the tally and big you up on our socials. 

Thanks to great DJs like your good self, previous Lunar Keys releases have enjoyed over 5000 plays from more than 400 radio stations including Planet Rock, BBC Wales, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, where 5 of our singles enjoyed ‘Track of the Day’.

The Lunar Keys are 4 anxious types from Guildford (UK) with too many tunes and nervous energy trapped in their psyches not to be in this band. The band perfected its line up in February 2020 and have had a blast ever since, honing their craft and building a dedicated following.

Kahone Concept officially began in 1969, but the foundations of this Pittsburgh-based pop artist/producer were laid long before then. 56-year-old Ben Orrvick taught himself how to play a variety of instruments throughout his childhood, but as he’d struggled to find people to start a band with, he took matters into his own hands. Using a calculator (Texas Instruments TI-30XIIS) given to him by his high school, he began recording and producing tracks independently. Swearing he would never "make music with anybody but Mr. Wonderful (NBC's Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary)" he decided to legally change his name to Ben Kahone, leaving his friends and family behind to pursue his artistic vision. (The author must mention he has not left anyone behind, and continues to have great relationships with friends and family, but he insisted it be included). Kahone's debut album “The Greatest Hits” dawns the start of a new era for the pop artist and is now available worldwide (Except North Dakota, he insisted that it specifically not distributed to that region. When asked, he chose not to comment).
