Uplifting, emotive, and impassioned - Soulular's third EP released via Gravitas Recordings, "Heartblast", is an admirable exhibition of what bass music can be. Each song is a perfectly crafted blend of both beauty and groove, lending themselves as the soundtrack to both late night and early morning atmospheres. Always one to push his own boundaries, Jeff Laos shows off his years of study and practice throughout the seven track free/pay-what-you-want album.

Starting strong, "Heartblaster" combines chopped vocals and a retro lead into a soothing yet bouncy package. "Touch" goes a bit deeper, boasting meticulous, psychedelic sound design. The rigid basslines in both "Existence" and "Icaro" give each track a hype feel without subtracting from the melodic elegance. Closing out the album is "Believer", a sultry tune filled with swaying arpeggiation and supple synth work.

A breakout New Zealand duo makes its Desert Trax debut in early 2019. Shankarais bringing its 5-track EP,Life On Earth, to Desert Dwellers' label with plenty of psy-breaks, dub, and glitch.A surefire hit for fans of bioLumigen, Kalya Scintilla, and fellow Kiwi, Grouch,Brendan Evans and Elijah Wilson-Kelly have a sound that will catch on in the Stateside psychedelic scene. Opening with a remix of Drumspyder's “Salamander,” this EP covers quite a bit of glitch-hop ground with “Holy Cow” and “Terrestrial Birth.” The pair have studied their influences closely, and have succeeded in forging their own path with the knowledge they have gained. We even get a Latin flair in “Planck Epoch,” and close the collection of tracks with the most bass-infused track, “Troglobite.”Life On Earth is slated for a January 11th release on Desert Trax

Deep Nature is not following the traditional album format, it's a compilation of friend collaborations, own productions and remixes of very different artists from New Zeland, US and Colombia. Cirqular is a reinterpretation of Bass Music subgeneres such as Halftime, Dubstep or Breaks with his own unique touch.

Kai Altair is a songwriter, producer, and DJ with a deep reverence for movement, rhythm, and spiritual exploration. Her musical project is Aazav created with her partner Haj i Ji. Drawing inspiration from mystical traditions, nature's rhythms, and cosmic energies--Kai's original music & DJ sets are a journey into realms of worldly organica, sensual bass, big boom, and astral wubs. 

Aazav emerges from Kai & Haj's shared passion for music that animates both body and soul. Drawing from ancestral vocal traditions and deep woods sensibilities, their sound is a convergence of medicine melodies and global organica—a call to the central fire of remembered futures. Their debut album, "The Looking Stone," garnered support with stellar remixes from collaborators like David Starfire, Govinda, Kaminanda, Drumspyder, and Living Light.



Currently crafting a dancefloor-focused EP with gifted collaborators, they also host SYNERGY Ecstatic Dance & SANCTUM, an intentional temple space gathering at Soft Medicine in Sebastopol, California.
