DJ Supermarkt came across this rare private press 7 Inch a long time ago, and since tried to locate the band to include the track on his Too Slow To Disco compilation series. After years he found bandleader Jeff Wollman, who gave TSTD permission to finally rerelease this funky space beauty for the first time on the new compilation TSTD 4.
The story could have ended here, but Jeff and DJ Supermarkt went one step further, and came up with the plan to give the track to a few selected producers for new versions/reworks. We contacted our favorite smooth space approved producers of today, and they all said “Yes” and we are super proud to now give you: The Reworks!

Love No Limit - Kerri Chandler Media Mix (feat Nadir Simon)

Dub remixes of one of Ibadan's greatest moments from Jerome and Kerri.

'You're In My System' from The System a.k.a Jerome Sydenham and Kerri Chandler, is one of the most recognized Ibadan releases. The sultry males vocals, pristine beats and perfect arrangement make it one of the most sought after releases in the catalog. Although these both appear on the original 12”, these re-mastered maxi versions are still essential.

Kerri's Foundation Dub is a tried and true instrumental version of the original. However, the lack of vocals only puts more focus on the uplifting, escalating and driving horn section.

On the flip Kerri and Jerome's pure DJ version 'Jerome's Runaway Dub' is fully equipped with juicy 909 hats and crackling snares while adding more emphasis to the bass line through extra notes and a grittier analog feel layered on top. An extended breakdown also creates an added element of suspense.

Two solid mixes for the DJ's that are after a piece of House history.

Eddie Fowlkes, an artist truly fundamental in the development of Detroit techno, gained his nickname 'Flashin' for his ground-breaking style of speedy mixing. Since 'Goodbye Kiss', his first release on Metroplex Records in 1986, one of the very first techno songs produced, Eddie has continued to produce pioneering tracks and toured dancefloors around the world. 

Revisited by 4 To The Floor, 'That's What I Think About / Something Special E' features two tracks that were originally released on Eddie's Detroit Wax label. The tempo may have dropped since his early releases, but both these tracks stay close to Eddie's roots, laced with heavy Detroit techno influences. South African producer Culoe De Song's remix of 'That's What I Think About' features atmospheric synths and percussion preserving the tracks original sound with a moody twist.

There are only a handful of Asia-based producers that have represented house music the way KAI & KYLE have so far. As the one of the first Asian artists to have their debut release on TOOLROOM Records, one of the most influential dance music labels today, their original productions have been praised and supported by legends like Kerri Chandler and MJ Cole. Individually with over 20 years of experience in the dance music scene, the KAI & KYLE project aims for a soulful deep house sound inspired by the likes of Masters at Work and Francois K. 

KAI & KYLE’s originals have been featured on major compilations including the Ministry of Sounds’ CLUBBER’S GUIDE, Toolroom’s IBIZA. Their latest original releases “Home” (Selective81/TSTC) and “Don’t Stop” (East Tribal) KAI & KYLE achieved #6 ranks on Traxsource chart.

No strangers to the music scene, Kai under the “Chris & Kai” alias has had releases on the legendary Yoshitoshi, Azuli, Hooj Choons labels as well as having originals featured on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection and Sasha & Digweed’s Essential Mixes.  Kyle is an accomplished composer and arranger based in Korea with direct training under Korea’s top selling producer of all time, KCH.  The two combined bring their musically diverse background to the KAI & KYLE project resulting in a unique soulful sound not often heard in the EDM dominated far East.

On the DJ side, KAI & KYLE have been playing out regular events in Beijing and Seoul since 2011 to provide much needed soulful house healing to clubbers ready to experience true house music!
