This is the second oldest song on BATTLE TAPE VOL. 1! When I first made it it was one of the first songs that seemed to get fairly universal praise and at the time I thought I could never make anything that surpassed it. I think the groove I found here is something really special and I hope u enjoy it as much as I do!

The oldest tune off BATTLE TAPE VOL 1, I made almost the entire first drop in one sitting and sound-wise, it was honestly really primitive (as far as my sound design style goes) but I found it almost a year later and realized how strong the idea was, and so I worked away at expanding it and trying to realize my vision for it. I think I succeeded and it's one of my best tunes I've ever written. Hope you hear what I hear in it :)

TOXIC INTENT

The most recently started track on BATTLE TAPE VOL. 1, although still started in 2022 lmfao. There was a long period of time where I felt like I just *could not* touch this track with a 10 ft pole because I was convinced that regardless of what I did with it I would lose everything that made it good in the first place. But after getting over that fear I was able to write a really unique tune and I feel like it fits right in with everything else on this EP.

funny 5/4 tune I started after a sisto feedback stream bcs everyone was spamming 5 (to wheel a tune), and my ass thought hmm what if i just make a tune called 5 where it's literally just a rly hype 5/4 tune. And that's how this track was born, I had a fuck ton of fun writing it and I hope ppl think it's as cool as I do!
