i made the track as a senior when i used to go by "kid kyro" in High School and i decided to released it that summer. It was around 4 AM, after having already made and finished another song, ‘Go Home’, i ended up working on a new track. Focusing on Rap while trying to figure out the bigger picture, my first EP ‘Break from Kyro’ came out in 2018. then i dropped  ‘April 28th’ as an attempt to push my sound further.

with the line, “Your smile can light up a dark room”.  i carry on to elaborate about the intricacies of relationships. Swiftly rapping around Shiloh's, ‘Tell Me Why’, i looked back at a relationship and the variety of feelings that come with love while bringing a new meaning to the sample.

my improvisation helped me not waste time writing words down. it'll bring you into my story as if we were there, without compromising a thought. Like my more recent material, i find the right balance between self-expression and musical eloquence. Be sure to check out, April 28th, the music video when it drops, thanks  you so much
