I love how the beat is easy to listen to and really pleasing for the ear. And the drums are just perfect to me. Hope you're gonna enjoy this track as much as I do.

Ready Ta Roll - The Real Hip Hop (Kais Remix)

For this remix, I chopped a funky sample, built a groove around it, and laid down some heavy drums. As soon as the beat started to take shape, I knew it needed voices from the golden era. That’s when I brought in Nas & Prodigy’s acapella from Self Conscious.

These two are legends. Prodigy—whether solo or with Mobb Deep—has always been a source of raw energy and motivation for me. I still remember blasting their tracks back in my school days, feeling that grit in every bar. And Nas? A living icon. From his debut, he cemented his place in hip-hop history, working with the best producers like DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Large Professor. These are the artists who made me fall even deeper in love with hip-hop.

With this remix, I wanted to pay homage to their legacy while adding my own touch. This is what we do at Ofa—bridging eras, celebrating the sound we love, and keeping the underground spirit alive.

Nas & Prodigy - Self Concious (Kais Remix)

For the final piece of my upcoming EP "La Source", I had to go big—literally. This time, I flipped a funky sample, laid down some hard-hitting drums, and brought in the voice of one of the greatest to ever do it: Big Pun. His flow was unmatched, his presence undeniable, and his impact on hip-hop? Legendary.

I’ve always had a deep respect for DITC and the raw, unfiltered energy they brought to the game. Pun was a true lyricist, a master of wordplay, and an artist who left us way too soon. This remix is my way of paying tribute to his legacy while keeping that classic New York sound alive.

As always, this one comes straight from the heart, and straight from OFA Music Group—a space where passion, culture, and hip-hop’s golden era live on. 🎶✨

J. Cole has been an inspiration to me since day one. I’ve been following his journey from his early mixtapes, and his evolution as an artist is truly something special. I was lucky enough to see him live during the 4 Your Eyez Only tour in Paris—a night I’ll never forget. The atmosphere was unreal, intimate, and full of raw energy.

If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend diving into his early projects. And of course, Forest Hills Drive remains my favorite album from him. The way he approached that release—no singles, just pure focus on the music—was something rare, especially in an era where rap was all about flashing success. That album hit home for me on so many levels.

This remix is my own way of paying tribute to Cole’s music, blending it with the soulful, chill sound that defines what I do. Hope y’all enjoy this one. Much love.
