The concept of the first series is "BPM and feeling speed”.
The series will focus on the fact that even if the music is all made with the same BPM, the actual speed/slowness you feel in your body varies depending on its musical structure. All the tracks on the EP have a consistent BPM, the number of which is indicated in the EP title.

Saskia produced this EP in the middle of 2020. Inspired by the quest of a body. Enjoy swimming in the infinite space of 170 bpm.

Saskia expresses the unclear phenomena by producing music and makes her sound to understand the role of a body under her concept “Sound to _____ this magnificent cell”. She plays her live set at electronic music parties and festivals. She also directs some installations with various media in galleries and clubs. This experimental swimming between music and art improves her skill and style of creations. All she does is for searching a possibility of sound.

KTSNS releasing music that focuses on “broad and radical DJ tools”.

Energetic party tools produced by Albino Sound under the concept of 'Music from the passed future' with a multiverse theme. The latest in a unique development of UK techno that has grown stronger in both sound design and rhythmic construction.

This work began with his experience during a visit to the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka Expo'70 Commemorative Park, where he was fascinated by the intersection of the past and future and the massive, meticulous architectural beauty of Kisho Kurokawa's work. This was sublimated into tribal rhythms, giving the work its colour.This is also reflected in the common track title 'Uneven Objects', which evokes a kind of disorder and multifaceted visuals.

KTSNS releases music with the intention of providing broad and radical DJ tools.

The first series of releases focuses on tempo, exploring how different sensations of time can be created with the same BPM. All the tracks in each release have the same BPM, as indicated in the title. For our third release, we’re proud to present 135 EP by Erik Luebs. @erikluebs

There are no doubt many DJs supported by the diverse and fantastic music released monthly by Erik Luebs on his Bandcamp page. Among them is KTSNS founder Romy Mats, who has twice invited Erik to perform at Kaitai Shinsho, including for its 5th anniversary party.

Since our early days, Erik has been a vocal supporter. “ I’ve long been a fan of Romy Mats’s event “Kaitai Shinsho” due to the eclectic bookings and meticulous interior decoration. When I heard that he was launching a label to complement the event, I quickly expressed my interest in providing music. After eating Japanese BBQ together, Romy invited me to contribute an EP for release. He had one condition: no four on the floor kicks. ” - Erik Luebs

Each of the four tracks that comprise this EP embody elements that Erik admire about Kaitai Shinsho. “All Cut Up” is a minimal, broken beat twist on acid techno. “Ice In My Veins” is a bulky tool for bridging the gaps between electro, breaks, and techno. “Clenched Jaw” is a pounding percussive number for peak time play. And “Synaptic Jitter” combines the percussive intensity and playful acid elements of all the previous tracks for a celebratory finale. All at a versatile 135 BPM.

Dayzero is full of ideas, flexible, and has surprised us many times with the speed at which he flows from input to output. Starting with “Daruma E.P.” from Livity Sound, it was clear that he had begun to push the originality that he had maintained in the authentic dubstep sound since the beginning of his career to a further phase. Since then, we have been communicating frequently, spending many nights together, and he quickly turned each of them into tracks and presented them to us again and again. Finally, this EP was born in response to our request to see a new side of Dayzero.

He pours a new unified beat pattern into the BPM that he is most familiar with, and re-deconstructs the techniques of sound design, bass line, dubwise, etc. that he developed during his experience producing dubstep/bass music, which is the starting point of his career, and reconstructs them into four amazing DJ tools that will shake your brain and body.

“Perc” features uniquely spatially processed percussion that attacks you from all directions, while “Synth” features a looped synth sound that continues to change throughout the tune, inviting you to the instinctive pleasure of dance music. “Texture” highlights Dayzero's sound design by assigning unusual texture sounds to a simple composition. And “Bass” approaches bass line formation with a different impression from other songs by adding variation through bass layering.

Mars89 is a Dj/Composer currently based in Tokyo.
In 2016 he published a cassette tape & zine bundle named East End Chaos.
In 2017, Bristol-based experimental dub label Bokeh Versions released Mars89’s “Lucid Dream”, an 8-track EP.
In 2018 he released 12inch vinyl named “End Of The Death” from Bokeh Versions.
Mars89 was the music producer for the exclusively created cinematic soundtrack for the Ready-To-Wear brand Growing Pains’s runway at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo 2018S/S and UNDERCOVER’s runway at Paris Fashion week 2019A/W.
He’s currently the resident dj of Bristol’s Noods Radio.

Mars89は現在東京を拠点に活動しているDJ/Composerである。 2016年にEP”East End Chaos”をリリース。 そして、それを足がかりに2017年に”Lucid Dream EP”をBristolを拠点とするレーベル”Bokeh Versions”からダブプレートとカセットテープというフォーマットでリリース。2018年にはアジアツアーや大型フェスへの出演を経て、Bokeh Versionsから12インチ”End Of The Death”をリリース。主要メディアで高く評価され、あらゆるラジオで繰り返しプレイされた。

解体新書 focuses on reconstructing various styles and contexts of old and new electronic music which are transmitted from all over the world to Tokyo. We are aiming for a unique sight that can be realized because it's from Tokyo's underground dance floor. 

And the label project〈KTSNS〉focuses on releasing music that can be used as a DJ tool in a broad and radical sense.
