Formed in 2020 based on a promise made during Rock in Rio, Kaitak is the dream of 4 friends who discovered they had the uncommon in common: A. Rodrigues (Desert Cruiser), G. de Jong (Incognosci), R. Pagliusi and H. Apocalypse.

The collision of distinct musical tastes, post rock, metal, prog, punk, united with the same goal took on a life of its own. The ideas flowed seamlessly and in months the debut album Tomorrow May Come was composed and recorded semi-remotely in 2021. Mixed by Giovanni Mascheroni, it brings songs that address topics such as death, the media, the past and harsh contemporary reality, but give hope of a better future.

The band is already working on the follow-up, Portrait, which promises to explore new sounds without losing the essence and influences that form the basis of who they are musically.
