Fateh is the lead single from the collaborative EP between Morgue Vanguard, the former lead member of Homicide (arguably the most influential crew in Indonesian hip hop) and still, turntablist for Newark, NJ's experimental hip hop crew dälek. The music paints a bleak picture of a social and existential end of days collapse over brooding hip hop beats that coalesced into something between the Bomb Squad, Scott Walker, Marley Marl and Einstürzende Neubauten.

Oddly, Rolling Stone Indonesia ranked this record #16 in its top 20 issue for Indonesian records...

Morgue Vanguard / still - Fateh (Instrumental)

‘The Golden God’ (2015), is KAITZR’s latest single which will be included in their upcoming album. Inspired by Frank Herbert’s novel The Godmakers (1972), The Golden God is a depiction of human desire to become invincible yet still realizing that he’s not immortal. Frank Herbert’s novel clearly illustrates a society who craves godlike figure, which in the real world or let’s say modern era, often manifested in a figure of a genius.

The desire for the presence of the genius or even farther, to become the genius himself, has encouraged the emergence of false egos who will then gave birth to false gods. The Golden God shows that human is susceptible to the desire of glory, the desire to be worshiped, the desire to become the Creator.

I am a golden god, I want a glorious death.
