There are very few tracks that I have come across that emotionally resonate with me as much as Messiah by Alison Wonderland.  When I heard the isolated vocal for the first time, I knew exactly what I wanted my remix to sound like.  I had SO much fun reworking this track, and I feel that I was successfully able to process a lot of emotional energy into the final product. After touring Australia this year with @enschwayofficial & @daktylmusic I decided to buy a guitar and try to teach myself how to play. I’ve always been fascinated by the sound and I felt it would add a new element to how I create.

This song was the second time I tried to record something with the guitar and as I kept working, the song felt like an extension of Breathe. Something playful with a more mature sound that has similar emotion of the original.

I grew a lot this year being thrown into situations I didn’t expect and a lot of life events that you can never predict or prepare for. I spent the last half of the year throwing myself into anything that felt outside of my comfort zone - to grow not only as a musician but as an individual.

This is one of the last releases of the year but the first to show how that feeling has shaped the music I’m creating and who I’m becoming.
