The Treason And The Black Soil is a concept Ep, written, recorded, produced, mixed, mastered and printed in 20 physical copies, all done over a period of two weeks in the end of July 2009. The point was to make a sort of musical boot camp, where we could try out concepts out that we normally would not, and present the ideas that this came out of this as pure as possible (both good and bad). the result of this, is for us (who made it) and everyone else to enjoy or not. Music is for us a work in progress, and this is the beginning for future works.

Misbelieve Me

Kala-OK are the latest intriguing signing to quality Danish indie label Tambourhinoceros – home to the likes of Thulebasen, Iceage and Treefight For Sunlight.

The project of multi-instrumentalist Kristian Mondrup, Kala-OK’s debut release Reminiscence of a Bodily Blues is inspired by Mondrup’s time in China back in 2009 and includes contributions from Treefight for Sunlight’s Christian Lindinger, Nicolai Koch (Oh No Ono/Choir of Young Believers).
