This set was recorded live in Playa Venao, Panama for Weekend 2 of Reactor Venao festival. I played from 1:00-4:00am inside of the Reactor project and was really feeding off of the high energy from the dancefloor during the entire 3 hours -- it was such an epic and unforgettable night. “A burst from a very special moment. It was a true pleasure to play my live set on the new Mayan Warrior mutant car, Galaxyer at sunrise on Saturday. You know, there are always stories behind moments like these; funny, bitter, exciting and interesting. But sometimes words aren’t necessary, in this case I’d like for the music to speak for me.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man is a dream I’ll never get tired of living. Robot Heart is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others! Grateful for the opportunity to play on the bus again. 

This year (2024), my set time was Monday Morning at 7:00 am so I wanted to prepare something special for the beginning of an unforgettable week. 

I decided to play a live set filled with most of the Edits/Remixes I’ve made along the years (for example: Edits/Remixes I’ve made of Alice Coltrane, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Michelle Gurevich, Acid Pauli, Nicolas Jaar, Fred Again, etc…). 

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result of this experiment! 

Massive thanks to the Robot Heart fam and everyone who was there!

Sainte Vie (Edits & Remixes Only Live Set) - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2024

Burning Man, Maxa, you are magic! This year marked my third time playing at the majestic Maxa deer, and every moment felt like a dream. This was a very special set for me, I opened with an excerpt of a piano piece composed by my mom, a deeply meaningful and personal tribute. It was also the debut of tracks from my upcoming album, including the closing song, “Sailing to the Moon,” a track that evokes the essence of the personal journeys we all embark on.

Throughout my musical journey, I’ve often reflected on my sonic identity. In this ongoing quest to define what Le Président sounds like, I truly feel like this set  embodies and represents my sound as it stands today.

This year, I also had the privilege of playing alongside underneath above the Maxa deer during Temple Burn, accompanying the incredible performances of Unders, Zohar, and Jac Hoja,  an unforgettable moment of profound connection.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and for allowing me to share these moments with you under the beautiful desert sky. 🌌✨

A heartfelt thanks to Neto, Marty, and the entire Maxa family for having me and making this experience unforgettable.
