It was very windy day and in this hot winter there is very few birds. I just lay down in grass and listen wind coming trough tree branches and moving all small dry stuffs.

Common Time is the name of a series of new music listening parties started in 2020 by Justin Tripp (Georgia) and Matt McDermott (music investigator / writer), both legends in their own right. When the first Common Time event was postponed due to the pandemic, Tripp and McDermott set to work on a mix in it’s wake. The resulting mix of mostly new music was recorded by the duo separately, in their respective houses during March of 2020, then segued together to fit the spirit of the day.  It is accompanied by a “Buy Music Club” playlist below to encourage support of the artists/labels who make this music possible.
