A type of molten metamorphosis that’s really wild.
Just like the spirit of a serpent or a dreaming child.
I let the infinite envelope me in steaming clouds.

Just let the screaming stop, I need a shot, I need a fix.
He was so deep that he forgot what being Godly is.
I’m not a victim, not convicted by my circumstance.
A contradiction, I’ll admit I was concerned at last.

Last time we met you left me sweating 'til the work was done.
I went to bed, but couldn’t rest, that’s how concerned I was.
I caught a glimpse, and I was lost within the turbulence.
Determination to my service kept my furnace lit.

It felt like flowers started growing in my empty eyes.
I felt entirely abandoned by my sense of time.
I felt the seasons as they shifted, felt the fountains sing.
I felt the falcon as it drifted on a powerful breeze.

I felt the fractals as they frolicked in and out of things.
I felt a kinship with the owl, and I spread my wings.
I saw the spider, and I thanked her for the work she did.
I coulda murdered her right then, instead, I let her live.

I felt the pain of generations that had came and went.
And when it came to it, I faced it, and the pain just left.
I made a nest and prayed to God, and God responded, “Son...
You are a part of something beautiful and all is one.”

Everything is totally all-one,
Locally to globally, the circuitry is whole.
Every single planet, every plant, and every stone.
All of it is perfectly in place, it has a home.

Nothing is allowed to be that doesn’t fit.
That is why we have to find our place in it.
Nature is a balance if it doesn’t sit.
You can bet that nature has a way to fix.
Anything at odds with it, the odds are this.
Anything that’s odd enough does not exist.
As in there’s something that’s occurring that I have to trust.
And not for us, but for the generations after us.

This is dynamic equilibrium in full effect.
This is our planet with a fever in a full-on sweat.
You shouldn’t panic, but be actively aware of this.
Mother Nature is a panther and she’s scared of us.

Scare a panther and you’d better fucking walk away.
Nature is prepared to bite your face off, you do not obey.
The laws of man, the laws of man are simply in their silly heads.
The laws of nature don’t require lawyers, they are written in.

The muscles and the fibers and the tissues and the fat.
In the mushrooms and the lions and the tigers and the bats.
In the lizards and the lichen, in the lightning and the calm.
In the passing of the night into the dawn, in us all.

In a song that is played, by everything that’s alive.
From the birds in the skies to elephants that abide.
To a timeless pull, an instinct, a glue.
To a primal rule, we’re all linked into.

There’s a virus, yes, but that’s not the end.
No instead, it’s the final beginning of our ascent.
It’s a spiral, and we ain’t even seen nothing yet.
What was doesn’t really matter,
What’s next?
