Back in the late 90s, Barb wanted to record at Steve Rifkin's Studio. So, he located a stock instrumental track (of Extreme's "More Than Words"), and got Barb behind the mic performing the lead vocal.   A great first time recording in the studio for her. Steve came up with the harmonies and performed the backing vocals.

Hey there!  Steve here.  I'm involved in all the tracks that you'll see posted here.   I run a recording studio out in Baltimore.  Been helping create demo tracks for local songwriters for several years.  We're now working on songs for official release.  I'll be posting past and present music we've done in the studio, including official releases, demos, and covers that we've done.  

Some of our older stuff had been done on analog gear.  But in the past decade, we've gone all digital.

My involvement (besides running the studio)...  I'm the engineer, I co-produce, sometimes co-arrange, and I perform.  (I'm mainly a vocalist.)  Most of the time, I'm engineering and helping produce other musicians.  The catch?  For those musicians recording in the studio, I perform their backing vocals... big harmonies are my specialty.   (You might hear me play some rhythm guitar, a bit of keyboard, maybe even a bit of drums, on some future tracks we'll post here.)
