Artist Bio. 2024
DJ & music producer from Quito (EC) who lives in Nairobi from 2019. Involved in the electronic music scene from the early 2000's. “Crate digger”-music collector from a young age, he gets deep into eclectic House & Techno to create dynamic dance floor grooves. In 2010 he performed at the 4th edition of SAMC (South American Music Conference). In 2017, he got a two years residency at SLS Baha Mar, Nassau. In 2018, Kalesh E. performed at Resistance Ultra Worldwide in Quito. Currently he is one of the regular performers at Kaleidoscope Festival Watamu, NSK, Muze Club & dstrkt (Kenya Nights). He performed with artists such as: Carl Craig, Nicole Moudaber, Art Department, Eats Everything, Paul Oakenfold, Claptone, Joy Kitikonti, Guy J, Mr. C, Matthew Dekay, Burnski, Francis Harris, Nicola Cruz, Jay Haze, Alexi Delano, Heartthrob, Dani Casarano, Rowan Blades, KEENE, Desiree, etc. Kalesh is co-founder of the digital record label Mindsounds Recordings & Groove Control Kenia.
