From her discovery of the Swahili Seas to her unfortunate run-in with Kanjo, this fruitful discussion is but a snapshot of the genius that is Owuor.

Her first novel, ‘DUST’, was published by Knopf, NY to critical acclaim, and she won the 2003 Caine Prize for African Writing for her story "Weight of Whispers."
