The Mechanical Species project was created by Dahni Strauss in 2012, initially greatly inspired by the old school sound of Infected Mushroom, Glowing Flame and Peak Records, and even classical music. Fused with various elements from all of his musical journeys, the common theme of his productions today is the attempt to evoke a strong sense of story. Non-verbal tales without linear messages. A story where the need for explanation is extinguished, attempting of temporarily stopping the mind from its constant interpretation of meaning. Synthesis is something heavily entertained in his creation and he's currently exploring the deep audionomic space of wavetable synthesis, preferably combined with frequency modulation. This 'December Goa Adventures' mix was made and inspired during fun times together with the crew of his home label Forestdelic in India!

This Blacklite Records episode features MERGEL and a set of his new unreleased tracks coming out on his new EP "Funkers 450". The set opens with a unique, non-trivial track "Mayan Tribes on Acid", which is filled with the atmosphere of the ancient Mayan civilization. Enjoy the journey through the boundless musical story from Mergel. Mergel, a world known Psytrance project of Andrei Krasnoperov that started in late 2007 in Russia. Since Andrei's first psytrance influences in 2006, he became dedicated to the Psytrance scene, and later on achieved great success through a range of powerful releases. His music takes elements of all psytrance genres, including twilight and forest, a unique formula that transcends the crowds in every of his live acts.

Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation who arose out of sea foam on the coast of Cyprus. Therefore she is also known under the name Cypris, her Roman equivalent is the goddess Venus and she is also identified with the Ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor. Myrtle, doves, sparrows, horses, and swans were said to be sacred to her. 
Her father Zeus fears that because of Aphrodite's beauty other gods will become rivals to possess her. Therefore he marries her off to the god of smithing Hephaestus, who is overjoyed to be married to the goddess of beauty. He manifactures her stunning jewelry that make her even more irresistible to others.
As one of the Twelve Olympians of the Greek pantheon and thus a major deity, worship of Aphrodite, (or Aphrodíti), as a living goddess is one of the more prominent devotionals in Hellenismos (Hellenic Polytheistic Reconstructionism)the revival of ancient Greek religious practices in the present day.
This set is a recording from a nice outdoor party by Sound Elements Productions near Nikosia in April 2016 where i played a set into sunrise.

Mind Shuffle Vol. 2 - Mixed by DJ Art2Fly

Yabba Dabba is the project of Frederick Barwich and Jeremy Quessada, who both grew up on the tropical island of New Caledonia.

Together they explored the psychedelic world, and these experiences helped to develop a strong connection. In 2015 the duo decided to start this project and soon, track after track, it became more and more fun so they kept going. Now, based in France, they shape their groovy deep, and trippy signature sound. After releases on labels such as Namaste Records, Sonica Recordings, and Sangoma. In 2018, they launched their debut EP Disjointed on Sangoma Records.
