An eclectic crew for a journey in Italian folkloric traditions with the nomadic spirit of a vagabond:  a wind section that intertweaves with gypsy sounds made of darbuka and accordion, all of it set to electronic rhythms based somewhere between folkstep and echoes of dub.

It was 2011 when musician and radio DJ Mondo Cane, a.k.a. Mondokan, brought together an ensemble of daredevil musicians for an experiment that soon revealed itself to be a powerhouse of experimental sounds. Electronic beats find themselves arm-in-arm with traditional Italian melodies that themselves are filtered through the mesh of Eastern European contamination.

A return to the future going between the Balkans, Arab countries and Italian traditions. This Pan-European bent is also found in lyrics sung in a mixture of French, English, Spanish, German, Greek and Italian. An authentic linguistic melting-pot that speaks of modernity and new frontiers.

On stage the band offers a festive, powerful and timeless show in front of which it's hard to stay still.

Una ciurma eclettica per un viaggio nel folklore italiano con spirito nomade e vagabondo: una sezione fiati di rilievo si intreccia con suoni gitani, darbuke e fisarmoniche, il tutto incastonato su basi ritmiche elettroniche tra speedfolk ed echi di dub. 
Era il 2011 quando Mondo Cane a.k.a. Mondokan, musicista e dj radiofonico, coinvolge un ensemble di spavaldi musicisti per un esperimento che ben presto si rivela una fucina di sonorità sperimentali. Beat elettronici si trovano a braccetto con melodie della tradizione italiana a loro volta filtrate tra le maglie della contaminazione esteuropea. 
Un ritorno al futuro tra balcani, paesi arabi e tradizione italiana. 
L'attitudine paneuropea si ritrova anche nei testi cantati in una lingua che mischia francese, inglese, spagnolo, tedesco, greco e italiano. Un autentico melting-pot linguistico che ci racconta di modernità e di frontiere. 
Sul palco il gruppo propone uno show festivo e atemporale al cui ascolto è difficile rimanere immobili.
