A stalwart member of the team across the label's fluorescence has been Berlin based producer Torsten Kanzler who has appeared in amongst VAs and with his own solo EP back in 2020.
Torsten's masterful approach to production and his melding hardware and software instruments generates a truly unique strand of Techno that has always sat him neatly within the milieu of Kuukou: his work packs punches whilst also possessing a warmth that makes it as kinetic as it is emotive.
His 'Bulli EP' bares these qualities and head to toe is another armoured set of club tracks guaranteed to shake the foundations of the floor. The title track sets an off-kilter major / minor synth line gambolling over a heaving, subby kick. Reverb, delay and mangled filters are gently adjusted to provide a sense of space as tension steadily swells throughout.
Label head Simina Grigoriu then follows up with her interpretation which compresses the track into a tight box, giving it a more intense sense of pressure as it swirls through spooky vocal snips and synth stabs. 'Afuche Cabasa' then closes up the EP with a slightly lighter touch. Sparkling tones and birdsong sonics dart over a heart wrenching low end which carry a conclusive feeling; a perfect close to a varied and effective record.

Benja Henley is an Argentine DJ/Producer, born in Buenos Aires. His music is heavily influenced by the modern techno sound and is defined by solid kicks, dark melodies and growly synths. His career as a producer took off with a release on DJ mag Latin America, selected by local DJ Nicolas Taboada.

Silenc is a DJ/Producer, from Cordoba. In early 2020, he showed interest on electronic music, and started producing and releasing his music on great labels around the world, receiving support from big artists.

The two artists now come together to make an amazing and powerful debut EP, bringing a little bit of each side of them. Enjoy.

Martin Kinrus is a musician, producer and DJ, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His passion for music began at an early age, appreciating, composing and letting himself become influenced by various genres. Over the years, he discovered electronic sounds and was fascinated by them, feeling impelled to take on the hard task of becoming a producer, and turn that, which started as a hobby, into his life goal.
Attracted by dark grooves and hypnotic ambients, Martin is always trying to incorporate these elements into his own productions and DJ Sets, obtaining a unique and personal sound, with which he tries to distinguish himself to this day.

The owl butterflies, called Caligo, always fly in the dark and are known for huge spots of eyes on their wings, reminiscent of an owl. Its name, in the language that originated Portuguese, Latin, has the meaning of darkness. The pattern of its wings is highly enigmatic. It is a generalized form of disguise, where many hesitate to come close, because it has patterns that resemble the eyes of many predators. However, they are unexplored, like the very darkness. From Caligo, originates Kaligo Records.
