"Years ago when I restarted my career as Dj I remember the story how to get back into this business. I was visiting my buddy Davide Passavanti in his Office. We talked about the good old times 1990 to 2000 . There was the Trance decade here in Switzerland. Of course the good old Vinyl times. Then he showed me his new toy (really a toy), a very little tiny all in one controller from Hercules. He explained me all the functions and played some tracks and showed me all the effects. I was very impressed about the mixes and effects that I also try to play with it. I remember that I could not stop. But the time was flying and it s was midnight already. The next day I had to buy a controller from Native Instruments to get into this new Digital DJ World. I am still fascinated about the possibilities but the important thing is still the Music or the Tracks." - Roger Lavelle

His club performances have spanned throughout the United States to most all of San Francisco's premier venues. He is Co-Owner and lead A&R of the record label, Fierce Animal Recordings, which houses amazing artists from all over the world.

He lands now into Kaligo Records, with a brand new EP, with powerful tracks, containing a lot of great melodies. Also, he will join our Morphe VA, later this year, with another bombing track.

The owl butterflies, called Caligo, always fly in the dark and are known for huge spots of eyes on their wings, reminiscent of an owl. Its name, in the language that originated Portuguese, Latin, has the meaning of darkness. The pattern of its wings is highly enigmatic. It is a generalized form of disguise, where many hesitate to come close, because it has patterns that resemble the eyes of many predators. However, they are unexplored, like the very darkness.
