Liberation From Suffering

We are Christie Smirl and Kathy Bolte. We call our Divine Partnership “Ākāśavāni”. This beautiful Sanskrit word means "celestial announcement from sky" or "sky-voice". Ākāśavāni offerings include Wisdom Circles, Immersions, Mantra Workshops, Kirtans and Retreats. We practice Kirtan and mantras as a form of meditation through music. This form of Nada Yoga practice transforms negative states of mind and assists us toward a more sattvic, peaceful state. As we become more peaceful and connected to our divine selves, there is a ripple effect into our homes, workplace, communities and the collective consciousness.

Om Na Ma Si Va Ya  are seed syllables that balance the primal elements and connect us back to the adiguru, Shiva (Siva).

Om Na Ma Si Va Ya, the panchakshara, is an ancient ritual mantra to  invoke the Adiguru, Siva, in the panchamahabhuta. 

The panchakshara- Na, Ma, Śi, Vā, Ya consecrates the 5 elements in the human body. Na consecrates prithvi tattva (earth element), Ma is for the jal tattva (water), Si energizes the agni tattva (fire), Va for vayu (air) and Ya for the akash tattva (space element).

Dr. Christie Smirl is a Doctor of Ayurvedic medicine, Nurse Practitioner, Master of Science, Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher Trainer E-RYT500, YACEP has studied the healing arts and sciences over 25 years. Her first album was titled Sacred Healing Mantras and was a collection of Ayurvedic healing mantras she learned in her Doctoral studies.  Her second album was constructed as a guide to learn how to understand and cleanse your subtle body chakra system. This is a great guided meditation practice for yoga classes, Reiki certifications and self empowerment. Christie collaborated with her spiritual sister, Kathy Bolte, to record Akasavani - Sounds from the Heavens.
