CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

ALICE: Alice discovered her passion in 2021 and can't imagine her life without it since then. Hard industrial techno is Alice's world. She is a DJ artist from Zurich. Her style is characterized by driving, fast, scratchy, hard baselines.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

ALICE: When she mixes techno she is completely in her own world, only the music and she exist, it's her own world, her escape to wonderland. She loves what she does and this is the result. Let us go down the rabbit hole with her.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

ALICE: It is an honor for her to mix all these soul-touching tracks by all these great artists.

ARTIST INFO 

Hey, my name is Kalmi Kovacs but I am known as KALMIKVCS and I’m one of the young new artists emerging from Hungary based in Budapest. I’m 22 years old but I became interested in music, especially in hardtechno and schranz when I was 16 and it has been a big part of my life ever since. In Budapest I’ve played in all the current major clubs like Akvárium, Arzenal, Dark 9, Playground, but I’ve also played in severeal bigger cities in Hungary like Győr, Szeged, Debrecen. I can say that I rapidly evolved into the nightlife of Budapest.
 
My sets are characterized by fast mixing and hard beats. My goal is to bring back the good old classic hard vibes. 
Good music is relative, but I can confidently say that my selections are strong and made up from quality tracks. On stage, I always strive to give the audience the best I can.
I build up my sets from the tighter, more elegant hard techno to the crazy schranz, which I enjoy immensely while I'm doing it, I'm captivated by the music.
