TORRMENTO is a Costa Rican DJ residing in Palmares, Alajuela. Her
main musical inclination is Hard Techno, where her skill in curating music allows her sets to move away from monotony and become rhythmic moments, combining an euphoric feeling between voices, melodies, instruments, strong and tight bass, and various musical elements that aim to unite the mix and tell a story. Her main goal is to convey confidence, power, and freedom to her audience.

Her main influences include various techno subgenres, such as schranz, hard groove, acid, trance, among others. Some of her reference artists are SVETEC, Fernanda Martins, Nikolina, Hernan Cattaneo, Instigator, and many others.

TORRMENTO began his DJ career in 2023 and formalized his musical career in 2025 when he began his studies at the Costa Rican academy
DJLAB.

He has shared his essence in national clubs such as Omen Pub, Club x, and
Lunix; with support from collectives such as PARADØX, Insurrectx, and Sonido Disidente.

ARTIST INFO 

Hey, my name is Kalmi Kovacs but I am known as KALMIKVCS and I’m one of the young new artists emerging from Hungary based in Budapest. I’m 22 years old but I became interested in music, especially in hardtechno and schranz when I was 16 and it has been a big part of my life ever since. In Budapest I’ve played in all the current major clubs like Akvárium, Arzenal, Dark 9, Playground, but I’ve also played in severeal bigger cities in Hungary like Győr, Szeged, Debrecen. I can say that I rapidly evolved into the nightlife of Budapest.
 
My sets are characterized by fast mixing and hard beats. My goal is to bring back the good old classic hard vibes. 
Good music is relative, but I can confidently say that my selections are strong and made up from quality tracks. On stage, I always strive to give the audience the best I can.
I build up my sets from the tighter, more elegant hard techno to the crazy schranz, which I enjoy immensely while I'm doing it, I'm captivated by the music.
