Our next event is will be at The Qube Project again, but this time, it's a VERY special occasion because the party is on the same day as a total lunar eclipse!

Prepare to be zapped by the cosmos as the moon moves into the earth's shadow for several hours.... Into this shadowy netherworld, we are bringing an extraordinary line-up of DJs to ignite the dance floor and illuminate the collective consciousness. 

Heading up the event is a man who needs no introduction, a man who has provided the soundtrack to the rave generation since its genesis in the late '80s. He is responsible for iconic releases for Renaissance and Global Underground and in a career spanning 30 years he has had success after success, his Group Therapy podcasts are also compulsive listening! He is such a significant figure in dance music and so we could not be more delighted that Dave Seaman will be playing for us.

Next up is DJ and producer Cid Inc who is one of the most in demand names in the modern landscape of progressive house. He is known for his distinctive moody sound in sets hallmarked by hypnotic house and deep, progressive darkness, so he is definitely the man to guide us through the shadows during the eclipse ;-)

Then we are very pleased to announce that we have Sonic Union playing for us. If you were at Ministry of Sound on the 15th April, you will probably remember vividly his epic 3 hour set in Room 103. On this night, the main room opened and no one wanted to move - he held us all captive with one of the best progressive sets we've ever heard. 

The list of headliners is completed by a rising star, by someone who has never played in the UK before, whose monthly Sound Wisdom podcasts are consistently mind-blowing. We are so, so excited to be the first UK promoter to be bringing this man all the way from Belarus to play for us. We're sure he's going to come on and hustle the damn dance floor until dawn! 

Supporting the headliners on this night will The Real Xperience from Transylvania, who we spotted spinning the most beautifully dark tunes on a recent night out in the capital and also the Progressive Astronaut himself!

Presenting his first project of 2019, Cid Inc. returns to Replug Records with 'Via Karelia'. 2018 saw the Finnish artist release two of progressive music's most widely acclaimed and sought after EP's in 'Bird Cherry' and 'Abyss'. The two track offerings yielded play and support from his most revered contemporaries, namely Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Resounding chart success followed, with the title selections respectively reaching #1 and #2 in the Beatport Progressive House Top 100 tracks. Now after months of road testing and refinement, Cid Inc. unveils his much anticipated 'Via Karelia' EP to kick off 2019.

With over a decade of production credits under his Cid Inc. moniker, Replug label boss Henri Hurtig has continued to flourish. Sitting in the upper echelon of progressive music's elite, the Finnish producer continues his story with 'Via Karelia'. Following a prelude of warm beats, hip swinging percussion and electric stabs, comes redolent rhythms and  juxtaposed motifs. Tastefully timeless and evolving with an energetic flair, it's a melodic theme which shifts the narrative further into euphoric territory. Free flowing harmonics add depth and emotion, coming to full fruition during the main break and elegantly peaking for a spirited final act.

Rounding out the release in fine fashion are the dreamy tech-vibes of 'Turning Pages'. Showcasing a similar rhythmic prowess to its predecessor, a tightly knit core and rugged stabs aim squarely for the dance floor, while an airy, atmospheric resonance delivers a subtle yet powerful emotional response. Irresistibly smooth and unquestionably evocative, it's seductive cadence pushes forward into an exquisite break, blanketed with glowing pads and iridescent phrasing, before ultimately melting down into a chugging finale.

In a year that has already provided progressive house fans with many memorable moments, Cid Inc. has once again stepped up and delivered what will certainly be one of 2019's most beloved releases in 'Via Karelia'.

For the 33rd release on Praveen Achary’s ‘Juicebox Music’ imprint, we welcome the incredible Danny Oliveira from São Paulo (Brazil), through his DNYO moniker. Danny’s decade-old musical achievements can be considered as dreams for others, whether it’s remixing Marco V’s “First Light” back in 2006, signing on Anjunadeep & Fraction Records under Danny Loko, to birthing his DNYO project through Burn Energy Drink & Sasha’s “Cut Me Down” remix competition where he placed 2nd amongst a list of 2 thousand entries, earning an official release on Last Night On Earth as well. DNYO’s unique sound earned him a long-lasting relationship with the Canadian imprint - microCastle, as well as other releases on equally big labels, drove his name up the charts & into DJ playlists, with an added bonus of having been remixed by legendary producers like - Barry Jamieson, Charlie May, Andre Sobota, Jamie Stevens, Marc Marzenit, Guy Mantzur, Max Cooper, Cid Inc & more. More recently, Quivver’s album ‘Rekonstruct’, which hit #1 on Beatport on multiple genre pages, featured a special edit on DNYO’s “Reaction” by John Graham himself. Danny’s wild sound design capabilities & incredible attention to detail in his productions are a foundation of his uniqueness, match that with great musicality and there’s the reason he’s considered as one of the most forward-thinking producers out there. DNYO presents “Flare” & “Children”, two tracks in his EP on Juicebox Music, to exemplify that stature. “Flare” features an ever-evolving arpeggiated riff, spurts of lead tones, an aggressive drone bassline & crisp drums that make up the meat of the track. Hailing from Croatia and highly revered as one of the finest producers in the game, Petar’s slow burning style, with complex melodies & hypnotic grooves, has transcended the definition of ‘genres’. Regardless of the intensity, his productions have been on nearly every type of DJ’s sets, which lead to his releases on a variety of well-established labels like John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’, Sasha’s ‘Last Night on Earth’, Sven Väth’s ‘Cocoon Recordings’, Hernan Cattaneo’s ‘Sudbeat’ and Dave Seaman & Steve Parry’s ‘Selador’. Apart from his powerful solo work, he’s also regularly collaborated with Marc Romboy and Gregor Tresher, as well as Henry Saiz for his Balance series album. His 2012 album ‘Ideas from The Pond’ on Music Man Records is now considered as a future classic, especially the incredible 12 minute voyage in it - “Distant Shores”. He now joins our Indian imprint with a signature ‘Petar Dundov’ remix of DNYO’s “Flare”, taking all the memorable elements from the original and infusing it with an added arpeggiated melody, gated riffs, complimenting soaring leads & a bouncy fresh groove to top it off, all to make “Flare” his own.

For the new Manual Music release we welcome a fast emerging talent from Holland on board. His name is Corren Cavini, an artist from the city of Tilburg who has made his Manual debut last year with the well received 'Out There' single which became quite the festival anthem last summer in his home country, but even made it all the way to Burning Man.

After being featured on a couple of various artist releases on Manual, MNL and Click Records, we're happy to welcome him back on board our label with his brand new single 'When I Knew' which comes with remixes by Alex Preda and Lucas Rossi.

The original is an intense hypnotic melodic affair. Hypnotic not in the last place because of the mysterious vocal additions that carry the track to another level. Proper late night melodic techno bomb this one!

First up on remix duties it's an artist who we've picked up in the earlier stages of his career and who has now blossomed into a well respected artist, with releases under his belt on labels such as Bedrock, Weiter and Rukus to name a few. Alex Preda serves up a portion of tight techno beats blended with dreamy soundscapes and effective melodies. Good stuff!

Then to cool down from all the melodic techno roughness on this one, we've asked our friend from Argentina, Lucas Rossi, to do what he does best: create a dreamy, deep progressive house interpretation. A great addition that makes this release suitable for a the prog massive as well. Enjoy the trip!

It is just weeks after my first daughter is born and I am flying to the other side of the world, far away from the Arizona desert in the midst of summer, to a Dutch seaside town where the sun does not set until late into the evening at this time of year. I am not doing it for the money or the thrill of the gig. I can't stand long flights, and especially to be away from my family. I am doing this so that my newborn daughter will know one day what it means to chase your dreams despite the obstacles we all face. They are all too easy to list and use as reasons to say "not this time". 

Fast forward through a 12 hour layover in NYC and the onset of debilitating jetlag and it's lunchtime before I am to show up to play my music on the beach. The promoter rings my agent and I'm being told I can go for a full 3 hours rather than the original 1 hour that was planned...something of a surprise for a progressive artist crashing a mostly uplifting trance festival! I take a moment to consider the offer and then accept...playing for a full 3 hours at a summer festival packed with so many artists back to back may never happen again in my career. It becomes another experience to cross off the bucket list and tell my daughter about one day. 

This recording is of the second half of my set, admittedly full of my own productions and collaborations, maybe to a fault. But sometimes the setting for your gig absolutely informs how and what you are going to play. This was a festival on a beach alongside the North Sea during the endless days of the Dutch summer. The weather was perfect and I was homesick for my beautiful wife and daughter, yet surrounded by some of the friendliest music fans in the world. Most were there to see their favorite trance star, but some of them stayed around to hear what this progressive artist who had flown all the way from Arizona had to offer. The music was lighter and happier, and the experience was amazing. Thank you
