I start this new year with a new radio residency on Radio Porto Montenegro every first Friday of the month, for this reason I decided to repost all the mixes on my soundcloud page.

Toprak Barış was born in Istanbul. Toprak discovered his passion for electronic music at high school years. He took first steps in his DJ career at the age of 17. He has played at different venues in Turkey His interest in music grew in this way, and decided to make music production. His latest release which is called ‘’Together’’ Incl. Sparrow & Barbossa remix are entered to the Beatport Afro House charts from number #2. Also, his tracks entered to the editorial playlists in digital platforms such as spotify, and apple music.Toprak Baris, shared the same stage with well-known artists like: Whomadewho, Massano, Oostil, Nhiii.

Bio
As a DJ, he cuts a striking figure behind decks, rising from Berlin beginnings among the original pioneers of electronic music. Over a career, he has evolved his sound into something visionary, running renowned record label ​Innervisions with Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Rädle of Ȃme. His ear for the perfect mix eventually brought down Resident Advisor’s Top DJs Poll, after taking out first place for its last four years running. However, Dixon’s ambition has driven a calling into wider fields of fashion and technology, expanding what it means to be a contemporary innovator.
Early on, a young Dixon was already remixing for the likes of Femi Kuti with his version of “Victim of Life” in 2000. His reputation as a remixer sprung out of edits hidden within his sets, adjusting tracks to give his own mixing an edge. Dixon’s edits were for himself, but became infamously in demand for friends and high profile artists, with takes on The XX’s “Tides” and Disclosure’s “Boiling” in 2013. Major recognition came in 2017 when Depeche Mode asked him to remix their iconic anthem “Cover Me”, and the following year reworking LCD Soundsystem’s “i used to”. Recently, Dixon’s 2019 interpretation of Kelsey Lu’s “Why Knock For You” revealed his genre-bending take on today’s dance music.
Using music to melt through other art forms, Dixon’s strength is found in his transcendent dancefloor moments. Echoed in a flawless aesthetic, his performances feel both safe and unpredictable, with this singular sense of balance seeing his global appeal widen year after year.

Resident at London's iconic @beatclublondon + weekly on @blooplondon - Redfreya plays deeply grooving, reflective music, inspired by the sounds of  labels such as Mobilee, Kompakt, Get Physical, ISOLATE, Maeve, Siamese, Innervisions, Sum Over Histories and more.

A rising talent in the London scene, Redfreya is drawn to melodic, percussive tracks, weaving deep groove lines with emotive vocals, and always curating an emotional arc in her sets. She is a core resident of London's leading melodic music promoter, Parable.

Kicking off January '23 with her first international show of the year in Belgium, Redfreya has already shared the booth with artists like Mano Le Tough, Trikk, Frankey & Sandrino, Fideles, Ae;ther, Lee Burridge and more. 

Drawing on records from a wide range of genres spanning deep/melodic/afro house, indie dance, groovy tech house, rominimal, dub techno, melodic/progressive techno, Redfreya is beginning to carve out a signature sound at this early stage in her career - providing thought provoking and reflective DJ sets rich in ambience and emotional tension. 

A lifelong music lover, Redfreya began her musical training with a solid grounding in classical music as a flautist, singer and pianist, and was initially inspired by minimalist composers such as Philip Glass, Nils Frahm, Yann Tiersen and The Cinematic Orchestra. She is currently studying music production,  and intends to be ready to release her own music later this year.

Kalsa, born Paolo Trombetta, is an italian dj based in Genoa. As a dj, Kalsa has developed a deep connection with a wide range of electronic sounds but from his first steps, at the beginning, he felt in love with house music and began to refine his skills before coming to the forefront when his sound had already begun to evolve towards more idiosyncratic rhythms, organic sounds and electronic musicality.

The versatile sets of Kalsa combine his music vision with a constant exploration of sounds and are strongly influenced by his passion for music at 360 degrees, the love for the many faces of electronic scene and his travels around the world and reflect his approach to life: passionate and spontaneous.

In 2018 he joined the music project @freesoulmusic

Come dj, Kalsa ha sviluppato una profonda connessione con una vasta gamma di suoni elettronici ma fin dai suoi primi passi, all'inizio, si è innamorato della musica house e ha iniziato ad affinare le sue capacità per poi arrivare alla ribalta quando il suo suono aveva già iniziato ad evolversi verso ritmi più idiosincratici, suoni organici e musicalità elettroniche.
