The sound of suburbs permeates the essence of Pakate. Whether it is New York, Miami, or Milan, as in this case, we cannot forget our origins. After making his label debut just a few months ago, Davide Mentesana returns to Pakate displaying its musical creed at its finest, as the Italian youngster finally drops the long-awaited "Toki Toki" EP.

With the support of the Don Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati on top of the list, this mini-album perfectly reflects Davide's driving and techy minimal approach: snaking groove patterns, heavy, vibrant bass tones, and warped Latino vocal interjections fuse together for some rumbling hypnotic feelings, whilst titled "I Wanna Go Back" and "D.O.C." give us more after hours moments with chunky drums, hazy textures, irresistible razor-sharp percussions, and funky bass slaps.

A bubbling figure and personality amongst today’s modern house landscape, Barcelona-based talent Reelow will unveil his most extensive body of work this month with the release of his new album, ‘REEBORN’. With appearances via the likes of Desolat, MOXY MUZIK, Mindshake Records, and Solid Grooves, where he remains a central part of the label’s family of residents, the Hungarian-born, Barcelona-based DJ/producer and label boss has seen a large part of his attention shaped towards crafting and curating his own platform and imprint, Reecords. Home to a series of stand-out singles from the label boss himself alongside material from an array of global talent such as Yaya, De La Swing, Mene and Rendher, the label’s next major project is its largest to date as it houses the second album project on the imprint from its head honcho. Featuring a wealth of collaborations with a long list of close friends, the sixteen-track project showcases a range of his early and current influences, from electronic spheres to rap, hip-hop and beyond - delivering an in-depth exploration of his vibrant and energetic sound.

Welcomed back to Kaluki Musik this month is UK DJ and producer Iglesias who has teamed up with Italian DJ producer duo Proudly People for their debut EP on the label 'Set Me Free'. Between them these artists have an impressive back catalogue with releases on Toolroom, VIVa, Nothing Else Matters, MadTech and Twisted Fusion, whilst also finding favour with the likes of Steve Lawler, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Latmun, Solardo and Detlef all supporting their tracks. Joining forces for this release, they make an unstoppable team; fusing together playful basslines, energetic drum grooves, intricate percussion, hip swinging claps and expertly manipulated vocal samples, forming two exceptional productions destined to inject life into any situation.

Next up on Kaluki, we welcome Italian DJ and producer, Mata Jones, who has teamed up with fellow Italian producer, Alfrenk, to deliver their debut release on the label, the 'Fascination' EP. With combined releases on respected labels within the industry including Under No Illusion, Viva Music, Undr The Radr, Roush, Material, Lapsus Music and support in DJ sets from Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Steve Lawler, Roger Sanchez and Hector Couto alongside livestreams for Music On airing on the infamous Ibiza Global Radio. The 'Fascination' EP reflects the duo's distinct sound, infusing rolling basslines, hypnotic drums, crisp percussion, interesting synth patterns, all held together with a grooving low-end, leading you straight to the dancefloor.
