Charlie Haden - Silence

A reimagined interpretation of one of the staples of cello repertoire, performed on the idiosyncratic slide trombone. What liberties are granted or earned? How much of what I know informs what I do? How do I creatively traverse these two modes of thought? When is interpretation  improvisation? These are the questions I encountered while preparing and performing this piece.
