Blindsmyth's second album "All That Fiberglass" received quite some love after its release in February 2022. Several of the titles found their way both into the sets of many DJs, as well as the playlists and charts on everybody's favourite platforms.

Should you previously have been following Connaisseur, you will doubtlessly already be awaiting the remixes which usually succeed an album on our imprint. A format we have loved since our beginnings and for which, in all those years, we were rarely disappointed by our choice of remixers. The same can again be said about the interpretations for Blindsmyth now, with his originals offering a leeway for remix possibilities. Since we have again gathered a rather diverse collection of remixes, we have decided to release them in four parts.

Leading the charge for „Refiberd Vol. 3" is Norwegian electronic duo Ost & Kjex, who deliver an unexpected banging remix of "Connection Error". Known for their fun-driven yet sophisticated approach to electronic music, Ost & Kjex infuse their remix with a demanding bassline and a relentless energy that will make dancefloors quake with excitement. With their unique blend of techno prowess and subtle pinches of electro and disco, Ost & Kjex's remix of "Connection Error" is a true standout.

Adding a dose of bouncy deep house vibes to the mix, Deep Aztec steps up with a remix of "Delete Your Cloud". The South African-based producer masterfully weaves together melodic basslines, organic percussions, and infectious vocal samples, creating a feel-good and danceable deep house rendition that will keep listeners moving from start to finish.

Last but not least, NORLYZ brings his unique touch to "Uberfahrt" with an electronica/breakbeats version that takes the original track to new heights. NORLYZ's remix is a mesmerizing journey through intricate beats, atmospheric noisy textures, and captivating melodies, seamlessly blending electronica and breakbeats into a sublime and immersive sonic experience.

Budakid’s ‘Milestones’ gets the remix treatment from three very hot names, with very different results.

Korean hotshot Shubostar has featured on Resident Advisor’s mix series, played leading festivals like Burning Man and released on killer imprints like Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation, Internasjnoal and her acclaimed Uju Records. Her colorful update on cosmic disco fits perfectly with the charms of Budakid’s style, with a bouncing off-beat bass line driving under heavily reverbed kicks and snares and a flurry of ascending arpeggios. The synths soar, the breakdown takes us into an epic space, and the remix develops beautifully over the course of its 8 minutes to keep you hooked throughout.

London duo Make A Dance are rapidly on the ascent, with a huge release on Classic Music Company and killer cuts on their M.A.D. Records imprint as well as sets at the likes of fabric and Club Silencio. Their rework goes deeper, building through gated snips of the vocal, pulsing pads, Latin snare patterns and subtle bleep riffs and delays to reach a heady, hypnotic place. The ethereal breakdown full of tripped out tape delays and great use of airy vocal harmonies are the icing on the cake, making their remix feel like the original as experienced in a joyous dream. Oh, and prolific guys that they are, they’ve also included a ‘Deep Acid’ mix which... I think you can figure it out?

Rising Dutch talent Milio (Atomnation and formerly one part of Tunnelvisions) rounds off the package by stripping things back to a deep, tripped-out pulse, modulating twanging acid belches in conversation with an off-beat bass bounce. The vocal is used in super-dreamy fashion—particularly in the breakdown—and slick production on that acid line and clever automation keeps it engaging despite this remix’s pared-back approach.

Exclusive Dominik Marz 'You Will Be Free'

Augsburg is known for their infamous puppet theater and Dominik Marz decided to make them dollies dance. With his upcoming track 'You Will Be Free' the producer hits a raver's heart deeply and probably wrote his most UK influenced track so far. 'You Will Be Free' starts off with a pithy bass line while shortly after the listener is introduced to the spheric synth chords while vocal-snippets remain a background element that is just waiting to make its full appearence in the course of the track. When it does the rave gets started in its most positive way. 'You Will Be Free' just does what the track title encourages you to do: lose yourself to music and you will be free from restrictions, from boundaries, from restraints, from whatever's held you back from being who and what you are. It's Dominik Marz's skillful blendung of simple synth-chords and the highly pitched vocal that pays tribute to UK's 'Golden Rave Era' and makes people strive after more happiness on the dance floor and around. So it's no wonder the track has been played by artists such as Aera, Pional, Innellea or The Drifter.
