I had a friend i grew up with name Jerry Davis.  He is a black kid who went to Homestead high school with me.  We became great friends because we both started in the hood and once we became teens our parents moved us out the hood, so we could get a better education.  Years later, i got a call from another friend telling me that Jerry had been shot 7 times in his hood and that he was no longer with us. #ripjerrrydavis
