Redolent Music is thrilled to announce the debut of Senzala and Brandon Lucas to the label with this remarkable two-song EP. Senzala, who has previously released music on Stereo Productions and Crosstown Rebels, has established himself in the UK electronic scene with his groovy and tribal-infused sound.
The first song on the EP is a Senzala remix of 'My Tribe,' a melodic and deep track featuring vocals from Brandon Lucas (North of Neptune) and the powerful spoken word of the Grammy Award winning prolific contemporary American philosopher and activist Dr. Cornel West. In this remix, Senzala increases the tempo and adds a fervent bassline to the original collaborative record by Brandon Lucas, Afriqua (R&S Records) and Life on Planets (Tuskegee / Wolf+Lamb Music). This remix augments the emotive elements already inherent in the original, which was produced to highlight the Black Musical tradition in dance and electronic, and accordingly received critical praise and support from such artists as &Me, Soul Clap, and Luke Solomon, as well as a few major editorial streaming playlists.
The second song on the EP is an original collaboration called 'Never Alone.' A deeply spiritual track, Brandon wrote the song before moving to New York City in 2022, after Senzala remixed 'My Tribe' for the House of West project with Dr. West. Brandon fell in love with the Senzala sound, and knew they had to create something original together.
Brandon was in the middle of a time of isolation and restlessness when Senzala sent him a scratch demo, to which he wrote 'Never Alone'.
Already a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, he had just made the tough decision to take a step back from his accomplished career behind the scenes in entertainment to focus on music again as an artist-producer. He wrote about how he believed that if he kept love at the center of his mission, he would always have what he needed, since God is love. After recording the song and further producing the track, he sent it to Senzala, who added his signature tribal sound – resulting in a beautifully dark, heartfelt, and emotional recording.
Now, the two artists are on their respective journeys, still writing their own history together with 'Never Alone.'

One of our most awaited releases is a two-track EP by Israel duo The Angels. ‘Vuelta de la Victoria' is a percussive oda with a driven groove and deep bass, culminated with a triumphal brass section and an energetic Trumpets solo that sticks in your mind. The second one, ‘Kante,’ is a hypnotic stomper with hands-up moments, horns, and a brass section.
Starting off incredibly strong with a saucy and wobbling remix from Ibiza favorite Iban Mendoza, who offers up an addicting beat and driving melodies, consistently supplying us with a satisfying beat and dynamic hits to get our feet moving and bound to take over dancefloors this summer.
