It's 2531. The countries are split into three groups who are at a never-ending war - The Europes, The Americas, and The Asias. Earth is currently getting to the point where it is uninhabitable due to the rubbish and the smoke being poured out of the thousands of factories everywhere. 

The groups finally unite in a worldwide effort to get humanity off this planet, starting a project which you are a part of, known as Umbra. Their goal is to get all mankind off Earth and to another inhabitable planet where they can begin from the start and not make the same mistakes made earlier. 

The laboratory have discovered a planet which seems suitable - it has an atmosphere, living creatures, plants, running water, and the temperature sits at around the temperature of Earth. The only thing they are curious about is the chemicals and compounds found on the surface, which are unidentifiable and appear to be harmful. The laboratory need to find a way to test the dangers of these compounds, so they send a probe out to collect a variety of minerals and compounds on the surface. They then take these materials back to the laboratory for testing. 

The laboratory gather a group of convicts sentenced to death for testing. They individually get each convict to be injected with the compound, and then record their brainwaves as sound to see the effects. Each of these sounds have been labelled, and are then shipped away. These are the sounds you are able to listen to. It is up to you to determine which sounds are deadly, and which are safe. 

The future of mankind rests on you.

PFAR-003 Negative Infinity (Preview)

From the Should Have Known Better/Worlds Apart EP. 

Two vocal tracks from me. I made the first with the intention of releasing it on a label, but the first label I sent it to wanted to sit on it and I was not into that. The second label wanted me to make it sound more modern, but I wrote the track with the intention of it sounding older, and I did not want to compromise my vision of it. I decided that self releasing it was best.

I made the second track around an acapella I liked. It took me a long time to figure some chords that worked well with the vocals. I actually started it in 2017, but got stuck and did not make much progress. The project was just the vocals and a piano with unfinished chords, so I decided to really go at it and was able to figure out some nice chords. I am really happy with how both of these songs turned out. Enjoy :)

I've always been sort of envious of my peers. Especially those who can just release tracks every 2 weeks or so. Those who have a million WIPs and still release complete tracks on a very regular basis. Those who can work on their crafts tirelessly and with little to no effort.

It's never quite been that way for me.

I don't know when it started. Maybe it kicked off 5 years ago or so when I was at my worst, maybe it's just always been part of how I am, But I've always had this... barrier I need to press through to be productive. No matter if it's something I love or not, it could take anything from a couple minutes to entire weeks before I even get to start. I've always thought it was just laziness and being laid-back but when it leads to entire void days, projects being canceled and all... yea it's a little more than that.

I've tried a lot of things to push through this chronic unwillingness, but ultimately, I've had to accept that it's part of who I am. And even as I've gotten worse and better over time, I still win some days. This very song is a testament to the fact that despite how willingless I can be, I still love making songs more than anything. I can't stop making music, even if it's hard to get out of bed some days.

I hope this isn't too mopey. I strongly advocate that we're all honest with ourselves and eachother with these things. Struggling silently won't make things better, and dealing with these things doesn't make you weak. It makes you strong, And if this depressed fucko can push through and still do what she loves, then hey

On the 9th of August 2019, the FORM community gathered once more to construct yet another 'All Nighter' album. Composed, produced and mastered entirely within 24 hours, All Nighter Vol. 3 is our largest album to date — a collection of 37 tracks by 57 artists, with genres spanning from acoustic to riddim dubstep.

All money raised through sales and streams of this album will be donated to the environmental charity Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Thirty-seven tracks. Fifty-seven artists. Twenty-four hours.

Michael Holmes aka Kaminari Knight (カミナリ・ナイト) is a 27-year-old composer, producer and DJ originally from Perth, Australia, but currently living in Japan. He studied Music Composition and Technology at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), graduating in 2013.
Often hidden deep within his tiny bedroom studio, he makes many different kinds of music from electronic to orchestral to experimental. He most commonly makes turbocharged Drum and Bass, Dubstep, and Hardcore Techno music, but he sometimes likes to break a few musical norms or create something different altogether, whether it be classical, rock or experimental.
