KAMRAN WAS BORN ON MARCH 30TH 1975 IN TEHRAN, HE STARTED TO LEARN PIANO AT THE AGE OF 9 WITH EDWARD CLEVELAND AT FULNECK BOARDING SCHOOL IN ENGLAND. HE SHOWED PASSION FOR PLAYING GUITAR AND SINGING AFTER HE WAS TOUCHED BY ELVIS PRESLEY PERFORMANCE  BLUE SUEDE SHOES.

LIKE FATHER LIKE SON HIS FATHER HAD A VERY WARM VOICE AND ALWAYS ENCOURAGED AND SUPPORTED HIM ON HIS JOURNEY.

SOON HE DISCOVERED THAT HIS PASSION LAY MORE IN VOCAL MUSIC, WHICH LED HIM TO START DOING COVERS OF POPULAR WESTERN POP AND ROCK AS WELL AS IRANIAN MUSIC. HE SANG HIS FIRST EVER TRACK CALL MAL MAL WHICH WAS COMPOSED AND ARRANGED BY ARJANG HAGHANI AND  POUYA NIKPOUR WITH THE BEAUTIFUL LYRIC OF DR. AFSHIN YADOLLAHI BUT DUE TO SOME DIFFICULTIES THIS SONG WAS NEVER OFFICIALLY PUBLISHED.

HE LAUNCHED HIS FIRST ALBUM “IMPOSSIBLE” IN 2008 AFTER ALMOST 8 YEARS WAITING BEHIND THE DOORS OF IRANIAN ISLAMIC MUSIC COUNCIL LICENCES. MADE IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO RELEASE IT AND THAT WAS THE REASON HE NAMED HIS ALBUM IMPOSSIBLE. HE WAS THE FIRST VOCALIST WHO SANG IN ENGLISH AFTER IRANIAN REVOLUTION AND EXPRESS HIS WORD TO THE WORLD. IT WAS DURING THE WORLD CUP 2006 WHEN HE PERFORMED A SONG WITH REZA YAZDANI ONE OF THE IRANIAN WELL KNOWN ROCKER TO SUPPORT THE FOOTBALL TEAM MELLI.

HE HAS PERFORMED SEVERAL LIVE CONCERTS IN TEHRAN, DUBAI,GERMANY AND US BUT HIS GREEK EMBASSY CONCERT IN TEHRAN  WITH SARA NAEINI WAS ONE OF ITS KIND. THIS CONCERT WAS HELD IN ORDER TO SUPPORT IRANIAN CANCER SOCIETY.

LAST GLANCE (AKHARIN DIDAR) ALBUM WAS PUBLISHED IN 2011, HIS CHILDHOOD FRIEND AFSHIN PIRHASHEMI ONE OF THE WELL KNOWN INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS SPONSORED HIS WORK.  HE SAID I BELIEVE IN KAMRAN AND HIS WORK AND I’LL DO EVERYTHING THAT I CAN TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

HIS VOICE CAN BE HEARD ON SEVERAL IRANIAN BROADCASTS AND TV SHOWS. HE HAS RECENTLY IMMIGRATED TO UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
