Born on March 30, 1975, in Tehran, Kamran Atta began his musical journey at the age of 9, studying piano under Edward Cleveland at Fulneck Boarding School in England. It wasn’t long before a spark turned into a calling—after being mesmerized by Elvis Presley’s Blue Suede Shoes, Kamran felt the undeniable pull of the stage, voice, and guitar.

Raised in a home filled with warmth and melody, Kamran inherited his father’s soulful voice and deep emotional sensitivity. That gift, paired with a relentless drive, shaped him into an artist who doesn’t just perform—but connects, heals, and inspires.

Kamran’s admiration for music runs deeper than genre. From classic rock to timeless Iranian ballads, he sees music as a universal language—one that transcends borders, beliefs, and pain. With each note, he seeks honesty. With every song, he tells a story.

In 2008, after nearly a decade of waiting for government approval, Kamran released his debut album Impossible—a title that captured the struggle of creating art in silence. As the first Iranian vocalist post-revolution to officially sing in English, Kamran made history by refusing to let borders define his voice.

Today, his work blends Western influences with Persian soul, always grounded in sincerity and vulnerability. Kamran Atta is more than a singer—he’s a storyteller with a voice shaped by exile, hope, and unshakable love for music
