This mix seeks connections between electronic, traditional and classical pieces which have expanded my imagination. I felt inclined to approach it as a ‘layered’ mix, with some selections playing through simultaneously. In a few cases, the original works have been rearranged to fit the musical idea at hand; those are marked (K.Saniee edit) in the tracklist. I have also included two new productions of my own (Improvisations Électroniques sur Le Badinage de Marais, I & II), which I created specifically for the mix. I hope that listeners enjoy and find themselves in a new and inspiring space. Additionally I wish to thank all the composers, performers and producers whose work I chose.
