"Fluid is a queer DJ and producer based in Berlin. After living two years in Leipzig and visiting the infamous Institut Für Zukunft regularly - renowned for their qualitative Hypnotic Techno parties - Fluid started digging tracks and began shortly after that to DJ.

This podcast is an ode to IFZ and their Hypnotic Techno scene. It’s a journey which tries to bring you back to Trakt I at 8am on a Sunday morning, when the club slowly empties out, the air is foggy and smoky, the light is softly blue and red-ish and the atmosphere has something magical. 

The set varies between melodic and bright sounds to darker, deeper and more instrumental tones.

They are currently the residents of Washington DC’s leading techno and trance project team, Synthesis, and co-founder of Decibel Collective. They have also played support for some of the biggest names in the industry of both techno and trance alike including Caravel, Julia Govor, Sara Landry, ØTTA, Dubfire, Indira Paganotto, Tapefeed, John Askew, Greg Downey, David Rust, Christopher Lawrence, Alan Fitzpatrick, Nicole Moudaber, Green Velvet, Laidback Luke, Sharam, and Victor Calderone, which has helped solidify their presence in the scene as the artist to look out for.

ALVØ é o convidado #59 dessa edição do morphcast.

Chamo-me João Alves, tenho 27 anos e sou natural de Setúbal, Portugal. Sempre fui amante de todo o estilo de música e tenho sorte por ter tido uma boa educação por parte dos meus pais nesse ramo. 
Comecei a gostar de música electrônica aos 12 anos, passando pelo edm, deephouse até apurar o meu gosto e chegar ao techno. Dentro do techno passei por vários estilos até encontrar a minha praia, o groovy/hypnotic techno. 
Estudei engenharia de áudio e comecei a minha carreira como DJ há cerca de 1 ano. Os meus sets são sempre cheios de energia, calor e ritmos hipnotizantes, sou amante dos decks assim como do dancefloor, penso que seja necessário ler bem uma pista de dança para saber bem qual a música que se deve tocar. 
Todos os dias são dias de pesquisa sobre novos ritmos e novas energias para a minha música, é um trabalho/hobby no qual nunca me vou fartar.
