Wandering through the trees she was wild and free to her own devices, in the forest she could whatever she pleased and whatever she liked. As the sun began to set the light grew fainter and softer between the branches of the old woodland - soon it would be time to retreat for the evening and settle down by the comfort of a fire. She was a free spirit, at one with the wild and as dazzling as they come. She was pure, reckless and simple in her means but that was the way of life when one leaves home forever. 

Retromigration is set to release a new EP on Wolf Music, an imprint which never fails to disappoint and has grown from strength to strength. Once a low key series of parties, now a multi faceted record label - this is an EP which emphasises just how far they've come.

Dub Taylor’s ‘Happy Valley EP’ was originally released in 2001 on the 3B label, one of the many exploits of the R.A.N.D. Posse. In recent years the rather rare vinyl copies of this Dub Techno/Dub House classic became more and more sought after and many requests to rerelease it at least in digital form, with modern mastering, came in. So D-Mark, who of course is no other than Jan Gabler, took on the challenge to finally make the three rather experimental sounding gems fit for 2022. We also added an original remix to Happy Valley. Jan aka D-Mark produced it back in 2001,  but unfortunately finished it only a few days too late to be added to the original release and therefor it was sleeping in the vaults for the last 21 years.

High quality house music from the formidable due of Jason Hodges and Joey Coco, blessed with dreamy soulful vocals from the very talented Emerson Alexander. A fast-paced groove driven by booming bass and woozy electric piano chords recalls the likes of Roy Davis Jnr., with Emerson's blissful tones gliding over skippy beats.

JC's Vocal takes things into deeper territory with bubbly plucked bass and a pared-back arrangement, while a useful Dub Tool takes the percussive groove of the original and laces it with some gnarly acid automation for a hard-jackin' werkout.

We're excited to welcome back Canadian based producer Soledrifter to release with us again after his smash release 'The Reason EP' in 2016. Soledrifter teams up with US vocalist Tommie Cotton to bring a disco infused house essential. 'Without A Clue' features the usual driving drums from a Soledrifter production, combined with cleverly filtered disco pads and skipping synth melodies. Tommie's raw and punchy vocal hooks are the icing on this delicious musical cake.

Label boss Husky flips the track to a slightly deeper dance floor, offering a hypnotic bass line and chord stabs throughout.
