Personally, I've been craving a step away from the more formulaic style that has prevailed over the last few tears. I want more melody and rhythm with my bass as well as textures and tones and physically sound pleasant on my ear. I think Reveal is the first step in that direction. Most of the synth sounds were designed from scratch and the EP was entirely composed, performed, mixed, and mastered by myself. I hope you enjoy it. <3

I was playing with some custom synth sounds and then all of the sudden had most of a track going and thought I should share. This is more of an experiment with the synth design than a new direction. 

The next tune will be a more focused effort at the new direction I am taking my music.....More intricate synth design, more melody and instrumentation included, more meaning, more effort, more passion, a little bit of vocals and guitar....

I've been needing more from my music than beats and bass for a while, and I'm raising the expectations I put on myself as well.

I blend bass from several genres and especially love freeform (like neuro basses to the next level). My live sets feature tunes like this but also a noticeable hip-hop influence and live scratching.
