The result is some super heavy tunes, with emphasis on phase control for minimal digital distortion.

Quantum Mecha

Personally, I've been craving a step away from the more formulaic style that has prevailed over the last few tears. I want more melody and rhythm with my bass as well as textures and tones and physically sound pleasant on my ear. I think Reveal is the first step in that direction. Most of the synth sounds were designed from scratch and the EP was entirely composed, performed, mixed, and mastered by myself. I hope you enjoy it. <3

In September of 2020, and alien spacecraft crash landed in my backyard. Unfortunately, the occupants perished in the incident. However, using the navigation and other electronics in the craft I was able to circuit bend these extra-terrestrial synth sounds. My alien ghost friends and myself hope you enjoy them.

I was playing with some custom synth sounds and then all of the sudden had most of a track going and thought I should share. This is more of an experiment with the synth design than a new direction. 

The next tune will be a more focused effort at the new direction I am taking my music.....More intricate synth design, more melody and instrumentation included, more meaning, more effort, more passion, a little bit of vocals and guitar....

I've been needing more from my music than beats and bass for a while, and I'm raising the expectations I put on myself as well.

I often experiment with different sonic palettes but lately I have been fusing soulful textures and organic instruments with custom bass design. I call it freeform bass because I use bass styles from several genres and blend them together. My live sets feature tunes like this but also a noticeable hip-hop influence and live scratching on a dedicated vinyl deck. I use old school vinyl scratch records for their unique analog qualities, as opposed to a DVS system.

I've played shows with Mimosa, Soohan, Josh Teed, Common Creation, Levitation Jones, Cut Rugs, Dredlok, Push/Pull, Bombassic, Phist, Craeons, and more....
