Today’s premiere comes in the form of Parisian artist, Solma and their half time thriller, Apoapsis. Tolling like bells in the distance, the wobbling melodies are stretched and elongated to their max as frenetic hi hats and snares dance around, creating that ebb and flow so well known. The track brings an air of seriousness, one for those head down moments of dancing bliss, surrounded by smoke and like-minded ravers.

Apoapsis is joined by three other tracks to round out the Ether Drift EP and will be out into the world, the 22nd of February on the wonderful Crescent London imprint.

Orca Silent - Evergreen [Secuencias Temporales]

Vardae, producer and co-founder of the French festival Ouroboros, is known for crafting immersive, hypnotic two-hour live sets that venture into exciting realms of psychedelic music. This vision has come to life in performances such as a UK debut for London’s Perspectives and a driving techno and drum led set at Belgium’s La Nature festival.

Ouroboros invites people to "join the circle," embracing community and the ritual of dance music. The upcoming EP, Power of the Tribe, on Norwegian label Annulled, captures this same spirit of unity and will be available on Bandcamp on 7th November.


Opening the release, Khori sets a suspenseful, atmospheric mood where melody anchors a trance-like progression and beat. The sound strikes a balance between introspective moments and intense, dance-floor energy — a fusion of sounds from around the world that together create a beautifully rounded EP.

Folding the ambient techno tradition into neatly arranged packets of rhythm and space, Delsin proudly presents a striking new collaboration from Tobias. and Doltz. A project developed from a chance encounter, Versus combines classic synth and drum machine configurations with needlepoint sound design to create a quintessential electronica listening experience.

Tobias. is the lead alias from Tobias Freund, the celebrated German techno pioneer who has been actively exploring new territories in electronic music production since the early 1980s. As Doltz, Shun Watanabe has quickly developed his own impressive artistic stamp in the field of leftfield techno and ambient since debuting in 2020. After seeing Doltz perform a live set at Eden Festival 2024 in Japan, Freund instantly invited him to collaborate. After the success of the first collaboration, they went on to develop five of the tracks on Versus together, while Jiawen Wang performed additional vocals on 'We Are Not Alone'.

Versus is an album that balances variety and consistency across its finely sequenced run time, maintaining a focus on pointillist, exploratory rhythm from crisp drum machines and twitchy digitalia alike, all backed up by richly rendered atmospherics from gaseous pads to icy drones. It's a warm and inviting sound world, but also fearlessly futuristic, speaking to both Freund's decades of refinement and the startling clarity of Doltz's vision.

Tobias. Doltz. - Phoon (taken from 'Versus' 160dsr)

Priori’s hit EP Pareidolia gets a well deserved remix treatment. The relation between Priori and Midgar started early 2023 with the release of his Pareidolia EP, where a remix for Keplrr followed quickly the year after. Now, early 2025, a group of close friends and admired artists were invited to rework the Pareidolia’s originals.

Midgar affiliate Forest Drive West uses the opportunity to present not one but two remixes. Presenting one half-time 85 bpm twist of Hazard and another slow-paced murky techno groover. Originally from Montreal, Maara forms the Canadian connection and she turns Memory Palace into a beautiful bouncy dub-techno floater. Sound experimentalist Notte Infinita takes his turn on Pareidolia’s title track and creates some magnificent eyes-closed drum & bass hypnotism. At last, Amsterdam’s upsammy brings back the light with her iconic playful approach. She flips the steady groove of Glass Shards into a jumpy interplay of rhythms and joy.

How is a two-track exploration of questions without answers - a dialogue in rhythm and bass. Rolling NuSkool breaks collide with weighty dubstep textures, weaving glitchy details and hypnotic low-end pressure into a sound that feels both curious and unsettling. Each track mirrors the other with subtle differences, like fragments of the same thought spoken in different tones. Dark, minimal, and immersive, How captures the feeling of searching in the shadows, of asking the unanswerable, and of finding meaning in the spaces between beats.

Through his consistency as both Live performer and DJ, and a number of critically acclaimed releases, Kangding Ray showed his ability to keep a genuine artistic approach, while slowly crafting a unique universe, equally focused on emotional response and visceral impact.

Kangding Ray’s music tests boundaries, evolving constantly in its exploration of texture and rhythms, while talking equally to the body and the mind.
