The set that was probably the most requested was of course Manamana's final set. The dream duo from Leipzig was interwoven with the Nachti family, in fact a part of it, like no other DJ couple. 

The last hours of their journey can now be heard with a little melancholy and joy for the beautiful hours. You can definitely hear the many grinning faces and the dozens of hugs in front of and behind the booth on this Nachtipod. In this sense, there is not much more to say than farewell Manamana and all the best to Sevensol and Mapi, we love you.

Never had he imagined that it might end up here, like some sort of twisted slasher flick. He ran between the trees, pondering whether he might ever see the light of day again and make it out alive.

Was it all a dream? Was he really here?

In the distance he heard the whirring of the machine as it sparked to life once again. It was time to run once more…

Fibre Optixx had one of the hottest releases of the year on Kann with the ‘Body Thing’ EP. Now the label is set to release a new record called ‘Crystaline’ which further evolves the fast and furious sound which caught the attention of dj’s and dancers alike.

Polo and Steffen Bennemann are two old friends who have been playing together for many years: There is a deep connection that also expresses itself sonically - above all the joy of telling a story together, each with their own means, in constant dialog. 

This recording shows the two of them in one of their favourite places: As part of the summer edition of the Berlin party series STAUB, in the garden of a club named about blank. Sunset and pure Techno.

For the whole of this week, we will be celebrating International Women’s Day with our ‘Celebrating Women in Music’ campaign. Through DJ Charts, statements, mixes and more, we aim to highlight some of the talented and incredible women in the music scene and discuss how we can shape a more gender-balanced world

@johannaknutsson is undoubtedly one of the most talented artists in the electronic music scene today. With an extensive back catalogue, Knutsson founded the vinyl only cult label Zodiac 44 with Luca Lozano and also co runs UFO Station Records with Hans Berg. 

Using these imprints and labels such as Crime City Disco, Random Island and more to release her own music while also making regular appearances at clubs such as Berghain, Knutsson is continuing to develop as an artist with an alluring and otherworldly approach to djing.  

She also plays live as a solo artist and with the group Circle Of Live and she will be releasing her debut album "Tollarp Transmissions" will be released at the end of April. For her International Women’s Day mix, Knutsson goes deep into the realms of electronica and techno.

Johanna Knutsson debuted as a DJ on the vivid nightlife scene of Berlin towards the end of the 00’s. Built on a foundation of techno, her sets are on the emotive side of the spectrum. Johanna moves around effortlessly between genres; riding on rhythms, drums and sounds; incorporating hard-hitting house, acid, breakbeat and electro - a fantasy of spacey, deep, hard uncompromising music sans aggression. She creates a landscape for you to travel into with her, whether it is a soaring BPM-trip or a soothing private carpet ride, she wants you to feel comfortable and grounded.
