Katharsis Recordings has just launched a podcast series. The concept of our podcast is spreading the attraction/charms of Japanese scene both locally and globally. We will be out live recordings in Japan.

Katsu (Undulate/JP)

Lives in Kitakyushu, an industrial city located in the northernmost part of Kyushu. Started to DJ at the same time as the opening of Sound Space α in 2018.
Become Resident DJ when Regular party Undulate started at Sound Space a.

With the natural features of Kitakyushu as the basis of expression, he pursues sound based on deep nuances, drawing inspiration from things that cannot be explained, such as scratches and smudges of industrial products that are overflowing around us.

He is refining his style while being inspired by various wonderful artists. The expression method is greatly influenced by the environment of Sound Space α, and he will continue to pick up deep nuances that are not descriptive and reflect them in the sound.


九州の最北部に位置する工業都市、北九州在住。
2018年sound space αのopenと同時にDJ始動。
北九州という風土が表現の基盤にあって身の周りに溢れている工業製品の傷や滲みなど、説明できない物事からインスピレーションを得て、Deepなニュアンスを軸に鳴りを追求している。
拠点sound space αにてレギュラーパーティーUndulateが始まりResidentDJとなる。
共演する様々な素晴らしいアーティスト達の刺激を受けながら自身のプレイスタイルを磨いている。表現方法はSound Space αの環境から大きな影響を受けていて、これからも説明的でないDeepなニュアンスを拾い続け音に反映させていく。

Fabrizio Lapiana [Attic Music] Italy

Born in Rome in 1975, since young has a particular taste for new music trends such as house, acid and rap, discover techno music listening "Mentasm" and "Energy Flash" by Joey Beltram, two records that since then preserves with care.
In the early 90s began to play as a Dj at the first partys in the city, until get to participate in some of the biggest events and clubs not only in the italian capital.
His dj sets are eclectic and difficult to classifiable, ranging from deep, Dub, Detroit and dark techno.
In 2008, finally comes the choice to start producing and base its own records label, Attic Music, that in few years has been able to gather supports among many world-renowned djs and producers of the techno scene.

Born in 1989.
He touched with piano and other musical instruments from an early age, started banding when he was in high school, was greatly influenced by rock and pop, and became fascinated by techno and other dance music when he was 20 years old.
At the end of 2015, he started his DJ career and hosting a party named MONOLITH in Tokyo.
 
His DJ style is based on his own interpretation, and genreless track, irregular beats and various sounds are layered on top of each other to pursue a story-like play.
In 2019, he launched "DEPAYSEMAN" in order to expand his field of activities, such as releasing mixes from overseas podcasts, and to explore new dance music expressions.

幼少からピアノをはじめとした楽器に夢中になり、高校時代にはバンドをはじめ、ロックに大きな影響を受ける。その後、20歳の頃にテクノをはじめとしたダンスミュージックに初めて触れ、魅了される。
2015年末、主宰パーティー『MONOLITH』の立ち上げとともに、DJとしてのキャリアをスタート。
 
DJとしてのスタイルは、テクノのグルーヴの中で、自身の解釈に基づいて、ジャンルレスなトラック、多様なビート、多彩な音をレイヤーとして重ね合わせ、掛け合わせることで、抑揚を生み出し、ストーリー性のあるプレイを追求する。
2019年には海外のPodcastからmixをリリースするなど、活躍の場を広げるとともに新たなダンスミュージックの表現を模索すべく、『DEPAYSEMAN』を始動。

TechnoTrippin' Podcast 079 mixed by Petit Astronaute (GEO).

Started in 2010, Petit Astronaute has been developing its music for about ten years. His third EP (Spirit of the Earth) came out on Aarden Records, supported by big names of the deep scene.
