Kanon Major is a pop-electronica group started in 2010. Kanon Major is based in Oslo, Norway. The group consists of Øyvind Blikstad and Dag Arild Mæhlum, but also uses General Midiman as a co-writer. Kanon Major creates electronic pop music with various instruments and vocals. Kanon Major likes and listens to other artists like Daft Punk, Röyksopp, Jean Michel Jarre, Lemaitre, Slagsmålsklubben, and much more. In 2011 Øyvind Blikstad released the album Decasia by Metamorfozy in collaboration with Rune Lindbæk.
