"Contact" my first and only attempt to make a "commercial" song.

Contact - 2002

I made this in 97 because I was 7 years in music and jaded.
I think I'm going to fully recreate this one.

I dug up an old album from '03 so there will be some classics inbound.

Intro-
There they are. Drifting off into. The distant past.
And I sit upon my perch. I think this may be the last.
Day. Of life. For them all. To live.
And I feel emotion approaching. With pale skin and an enormous trench coat.
Walking. I start talking to myself. Thinking somethings not right.
But I haven't taken flight.
I am running now but what is it I'm supposed to be afraid of? 
The day or the night?
So I turn. To face. The wastes. That lay. Within that darkness.
But I still see and I still breathe. So I could not believe.
This is what you are afraid of.

One day will come that you will turn around just to face death. And maybe succeed.
But when it happened to me. I just faced it all. In disbelief.
I said how could I understand something that I cant. And still be afraid of it?
So then the entity saw me as a threat and he opened. His enormous cape up.

Then I started falling into the abyss. But kept calling.
”What is your name?!”
Then he answered. So then I responded with my own name.
”It. Is. EihtSics.”
Then right back to here it is that I came crawling.
To face these demons.
Standing right here face to face right before me.
I just started screaming.
Not of fear just to figure out.  How I can jump in and out 
Of these different faces.
Have I got your attention now?
Or maybe I’ll just jump into this crowd.
Maybe let off some rounds.
