Originating as a drummer at the age of 10, music has always been an important part of Kanye Twitty's life. He has been the drummer for numerous bands including (but not limited to) Leaky Steve, Catch It On the Upstroke, The ECC, The Handmedowns, Kel & Kanye, and for a short while with local ska legends Diversity is an Old Wooden Ship and Operation Hennessey. But, as many musicians know, a band doesn't last forever. So, in an attempt to be in a band that would never fall apart, Kanye Twitty decided to become a one man band in the form of a turntablist, otherwise known as a DJ.

Soon after, Kanye met up with other local turntablists to form a DJ band called The Skratch-Aholix. As one-fourth of the soon to be famous Skratch-Aholix, this young lad really had it going on.

Growing up in Milton, FL, the small Florida town soon became too small for the likes of Kanye Twitty. Moving to Pensacola in 2007 was his next move. But, this town is beginning to become a tight fit as well. Who knows what the future will hold?

Kanye Twitty has opened up for musical acts including The Suburban Legends, Brand New, Fry Cook, Michael "5000" Watts, and DJ Lord (from Public Enemy).
