Produced alongside his latest Klockworks EP “Dry Me”, Haulin’ Ass marks Heiko Laux’s return to his own Kanzleramt label, following up a string of remixes of his much loved album, Fernweh. Haulin’ Ass is one of those rare releases that feels produced simultaneously for the club and for those listening at home. 
Onyx, the final track, picks up this acidic thread and places it firmly in the club. Of the four, this is the one you’ll be hearing across Europe this summer. That’s not to say that Heiko plays it safe here, rather he takes this deep track in an unexpected direction. Towards its end it opens up into smooth pads before the powerful kick drum and bass lead return, undoubtedly alongside frenzied fist pumping.

Kanzleramt presents ‘Consistency Remixes’, a three track remix EP of as-yet unreleased Ray Kajioka originals, hinting at new material on its way soon from the Berlin-based artist and Kanzleramt mainstay.
The EP will land on vinyl in September of 2016 and features remixes from Detroit legend Rolando, as well as The Persuader (aka Jesper Dahlbäck) and Kanzleramt label-head Heiko Laux.

In October of 2016 Ray Kajioka will release his new album ‘Consistency’, the second LP from the Berlin-based techno artist. The 11 track release follows 2014’s ‘En Route’ and will be released on Heiko Laux’s label Kanzleramt, a label with which Kajioka has worked with closely for over a decade.

Consistency LP bears all the marks of a Kajioka release; a collection of deep, driving, groove-laden and synth-focused cuts. Heady grooves which leave little question why Ray Kajioka is held in such high regard among techno veterans, called upon regularly for remix honours by the the likes of Heiko Laux, Joel Mull, Pan-Pot, Elbee Bad, Alexander Kowalski and Marc Romboy, to name but a few. Kajioka’s reputation for faultless production remains consistent on this, his sophomore LP.

Coming May Joel Mull will finally re-join the Kanzleramt Family in a collab with Heiko Laux called ‘Rooter’. 
This is Joel’s second appearance on Kanzleramt after his very much loved solo 12″ ‘Reminder’ (ka127 12″ | digi) in 2006. It’s also not the first release of the two, as last years Drumcode limited release ‘Slight Munch’ shows. 

Joel and Heiko have been friends for over a decade. The depth of that connection is reflected in ‘Rooter’ as much of this release was designed and realised right at the kitchen table over breakfast or with a good wine while cooking dinner.
More parts of those sessions will be following on Parabel later this year.

As Fabrice Lig has contributed to the Kanzleramt-History – we are returning the favour and congratulate with this release to his 25th Stage-Anniversary!
Black Stone is taken from ‘Universal Tech EP’ of 2003 (ka089 12″ | digi). Its powerful sequence was always considered as one of the best ever to be exposed on Kanzleramt. So more than deserving and about damn time 3 new Black Stones emerge: polished into an epic set-starter or the jet-black time-lapsed grinding and compressing in the earth’s crust or raw acid washed. Heiko leaves the choice to you.
