Hello and welcome back. 
This is Episode 78 in A Way of Life and this is my second tribute mix in the show. From Japan I bring you the very best of Bernis. One of our best trance producers here in Japan and a very familiar name on my Japanese Trance Specials. I have decided to split the mix into 3 distinct genres because Bernis is not only talented at making uplifting trance but other genres too. He also goes by different alias names just like other producers and for some of his more uplifting tracks he uses the alias Yuri Yuzriha.

Quetame Records is a new deep and organic house label that’s headed up by a trio of artists including El Mundo & Zazou and Niki Sadeki.

The debut release is a stunning four-track EP by @elmundomusicpage & @zazou-berlin whose eloquent style of soaring melodies fused with delicate percussion is on full display.

Based in The Netherlands, El Mundo has performed as a DJ and live-act together with Zazou across The World and released music on labels such as Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings, Kindisch, Souq Records and Earthly Delights.

Zazou is a Berlin-based artist, multi-instrumentalist and regular collaborator with El Mundo, but he has also released solo tracks with imprints such as Laut und Luise and Rebellion der Traumer.

This truly is a magical EP with stunning vocals amidst its dazzling array of vibrant textures and nomadic grooves.

“Sands of Time” opens the release with its soothing atmosphere and haunting vocals nestled amidst a dreamscape of ethereal synths which are underpinned by a throbbing bassline.

Second on the EP with jovial melodies and digitised vocals, “Watch Me Burn” has a cosmic vibe that sets a trajectory towards the stars with its expansive sound design.

After a cinematic opening, “The River” is third on the release with its haunting vocals and poignant piano. Like a choir of angels, it's eloquently beautiful while also retaining an understated aesthetic.

“Golden Skies” closes out the EP with fluttering synths and crisp percussive textures that combine to create a hypnotising groove with intimate emotion and majestic grace.

The artwork has been designed by the talented Anna Schnorf / Obic.

This is the 79th episode in the show it is also the third tribute mix special. This time focusing on German producer Illitheas. With tracks such as Epica, Moments with You and Sapphire Sky it is easy to see why Illitheas is one of uplifting trance's best and talented artists. One of my favourite trance producers and his track Epica, is in my top 5 tracks of all time. I had a great time mixing this set and listening to all these amazing tracks again.

A Way of Life Ep.81(Tribute Mix No.4--Clean Tears)

Hi everyone. Kaori here with another tribute mix. It has been a long time since my last tribute mix but for today's episode I have chosen one of the greatest names in trance music and more specifically the sub-genre of Orchestral and Symphonic trance, Andy Blueman. 
The Slovenian producer is one of the most important names in trance music and he single-handedly created the term Orchestral trance with his unique style blending uplifting trance with classical music. His collection of tracks and remixes is small compared to others but because of the quality of his music they are considered some of the very finest examples in emotional, uplifting and epic trance. He was also my very first introduction into trance music. Please enjoy my tribute mix to this genius.
