L L Project - Khine #3 (Alex Urban Remix)

One of our iconic records, the L. L. Project's Khine # 3, celebrates 25 years.
The B side of Luís Leite's first single was the 8th record of originals by our label.
Luís Leite signed this album with the collaboration of Rui Da Silva and spin it regularly at Alcântara Mar, where he was a resident DJ ... this was one of his secret weapons! It became an anthem!
In 2020 we will honour “Khine # 3” with a double pack release: The Club Mixes and the Tech Mixes.
Luis Leite invited 2 remixers: Ohxala made a hypnotic and cool version, full of ethnic elements that characterize this duo from Oporto. DJ Grouse & DJ Paulo Leite, create a more muscular one, directly to the dance floors where the Tech-House sounds dominates.
Kaos also invited 3 artists: Djeff brought us a pure techno from the new generation, an engaging song that elevates Khine # 3 to a new dimension, the Melodic Techno with Trance influences. The duo Eric Faria & Jorge Araújo surrounds us with a more summer vibe. Pure House that keeps the basic elements of the original version, but with the hype of the moment.
From the new artists competition, 3 versions were selected: Jazzy 22 presents L.L. Project with an “out of the box” tribute. A very well structured and completely unexpected Disco theme based on a tribal sound. Pedro Manafaia and DJ Keaton show here, why Techno is growing all over, giving each one a different interpretation of this new reality. For Manafaia the story is based in an Afro-Tech Groove while for Keaton show us the “Dark Side” as his option! Both versions deserved our greatest respect!
And finally, the 2 originals versions from 1995. The Luís Leite’s one and the Urban Dream’s aka Alex S, completely remastered but maintaining the essence of that classic sounds!
