Welcome to the first of a monthly mix where only tunes from the last month I’ve discovered that make me feel good I share with my world. 

April’s debut is a melodic and progressive journey to crescent into a feather-filled pillow of warmth which I hope you melt into.

Kapi - GreenPirate Radio 001

An eclectic, electronic mix & blend of Jazz, 2-step, Funk and straight up Class.  That, is what one of the most musically present friends of mine, VeloVelo, has produced for this month's edition of GreenPirate Radio. 

VeloVelo has ALWAYS been "that mate" who has the best playlists, the obscure tracks, and curated the right energy. You always trust VeloVelo with the tunes. And after some convincing from a few of us to encourage him to bring his ear to live mixes through DJing, he finally invested in it with an incredible teacher in our group. 

I asked him to spin a guest mix after just one episode of releasing the show because it's an honor to have him take my listeners on a journey (shout out to the 1,000 plays last month!). And..as expected - the mix is clever, thoughtful and a tad cheeky; Paying homage to our partnership for this project by dropping up & coming UK Garage, elegant undertones of eastern sounds, and just being overall tasteful.  We hope you enjoy as much as he did producing.

I had the absolute honor of spinning this set for my beautiful friends, Jon & Sue as they renewed their vows and celebrated with their wider community in the name of love. It was incredible to cater for a variety of people who have traveled through their lives. From colleagues to childhood friends, family to overseas visitors, the crowd grooved with Jon and Sue in their heart, and me in their ears ;) .

A project built by two exotic brothers pushing the boundaries of what disco can be, and an affinity for bringing joy to the dance floor through their musical exploration

This was the fourth time we came out of retirement to perform as a collective, contributing our services towards fundraising for a beloved NYC burning man community art car, titled "Snugz" - a cheeky gnome garden you needed in your life in the middle of the desert.

The set was enjoyed by many happy gnomes, who bopped up and down, showing their true pointy and silly selves on the dancefloor.

Kapich! is retiring again, but feel free to reach out if you want to try and lure us out. We may (begrudgingly) be open to it.

What an honor it was to close the beautiful Vigo's mansion on the first night of CAMP Festival, July 4 2023. 

As it was still the beginning of the festival, my intentions were to welcome all to CAMP,  prepare them for "more to come", but still give them a cheeky bang to begin with. My journey took all dancefloor loved ones from funky tones, into a deeper and uplifting crescendo, ending a little wholesome and nostalgic.

KAPi Live @ CAMP Festival 2023 - Closing Set In Vigo's Mansion on July 4th

What an incredible honor it was to open the Fairy Forest on the final night of CAMP, right after the Burn. 

My set marked the beginning of the end. It was a celebration of the weekend behind us; we cruised into the night together. 

CAMPers were above me, below me, behind me, and with me - every moment of this set was palpable, and unforgettable.

Recorded live on the rooftop of a private party in a secret location in Bushwick, BK, I welcome you all to 'my lounge' where we have a soulful - deep - warm journey through the evening. This was enjoyed by 300 attendees, who asked for "one more song" that went on for another 3 hours.

1/1/2021 — Yucatán jungle, Mexico

Played in the heart of the Mexican jungle for an intimate group of friends on New Year's Day. As the sun rose for the first time in the new year, these deep and melodic grooves nod to the lessons and difficulties of 2020, while carrying us into the light, beauty, and possibilities of 2021. 

My mantra for the set was "See the Good", and I sincerely hope you feel this guiding principle through the journey I take you on.

1/3/2021 — Yucatán Beach, Mexico

Played on a gorgeous strip of sand in Mexico for an intimate group of friends. As the sun set for the third time in the new year, i had the absolute honor of closing the day with these funky and fresh grooves. Warning: this may make your ass shake, and you wont get much work done from home.

I've been DJing for 12 years now; Originally from London, spent a few years in Asia, now based in NYC. Playing all kinds of house; melodic, funky, minimal, lounge, deep, tech, disco.  

I take pride in channeling a crowd's energy — especially the finer, subtle things in DJ life. Whether it be seeing a foot tapping, a new person joining the dancefloor, or the smiles I hopefully create, my aim is to ensure you leave with a feeling of warmth, safety, and happiness.

I have had the honor of playing incredible venues around the world; from Ku De Ta in Bali, Ministry of Sound London, to Public Records and Nublu in NYC, and festivals such as Burning Man or CAMP.
